Easy to use!
Good idea and enough info, but it's horrible to use.
Good app
This app collects GI data from many sources, so you get to see how foods were rated by different studies. (It will often vary a bit, due to the methods used.) Nice to be able to see multiple results, but I wish the entries listed what was used as the control in each study, so we can tell which numbers are comparable. Would add the final star if that were added.
Don't bother to download. Covers mostly low GI a few fast GI ..the ones any Diabetic needs to avoid!
Only name brand food. Not helpful with unprocessed foods.
Very reliable, because you can see the reference for entries and the way the tests where conducted. I find it useful to be able to compare different tests.
Doesn't have any info on non-processed food. Can't even find bean or turnip.
I have been looking for a way to check foods on the go. This is perfect. But I wish there was a color change option in the preferences screen. Very bright.
Great database of foods
All that the man in the street needs
Example, if I wanted to find the glycemic load of an apple it gives you a host of other crap plus once I found it - it was wrong as per Harvard med school.

Didn't have even simple oats.. ?

Global studies. Great research behind the levels, just read the purpose of the study to understand the seemingly strange combos. Would love more types of common foods, i.e., blueberries, blackberries, radishes, pickles, chiles, etc., by themselves and not in prepared foods. More US products too!.Nice job,
Handy app. I use it frequently.would love to have even more foods loaded in the fast gi calculator.

Excellent app, a lot of help!
Not bad
I embarked on eliminating high glycemic food from my diet. And I find this app invaluable. Just a couple suggestions: (1)color code glycemic load (ie green for 10 and under) and list it alongside GI (2)Offer ad-free paid version
I guess I'm confused why this person or person(s) keeps attacking the research performed. 1. It's straight forward as to the hypothesis. Be it the null hypothesis that you are stating. Which might be confusing to the non researcher. 2. Your research is widely accepted worldwide. It has been replicated numerous times. Thus as you all well know, replication has different requirements. Your study must mimic the other studies . However, your way of testing can very slightly as long as the integrity is intact.
Hard to use. Mostly non us origins. Missing common foods.
Keep up good work
Crashed my phone on opening. Uninstalled
Most entries can be double-checked with the University of Sydney database.
The most complete on the market.
Obviously false studies. Every one had 10 subjects and 2 hour tests. But the results varied for most of the foods from 20 to 100. Utterly useless.
Good things, the favorites and the history lists. Lots of informations from several sources.
The content is useful, but every time I enter the app I have to update the database or there are no entries and no info. Why not just leave it and update only when new things are added?
This program has a good DB, probably from several sources. But the color!! And the main menu (dashboard) requires rework, I think. In addition, putting the search button at the top bar would be really great.
Needs a little database sorting/classifying and it will ne great!

If there was an option to sort by location this would be great but right now the information is so overwhelming it's hard to find what you're after. Uninstalling because it's so confusing.
