As soon as I opened the app for the first time, "click" notification of a message... this is with my phone on silent. Well that's not annoying at all. Uninstalled immediately as there's no way to natively disable notification sounds without turning media volume to zero (affects other apps). I could disable notifications just for this app, I suppose, but that immediate bad user experience is a red-flag. *** response to dev response *** There's nothing to troubleshoot here --it's a design issue. You've chosen to use media volume to control sound in your app instead of the phone system volume (i.e. notif/ringer volume). Many people turn their phones to silent (i.e. notif/ringer off) and leave media volume up (so you can listen to music or watch a youtube w/phone on silent). However, since you've chosen to use media volume for app notifications, when I opened the app and got a notification from the app (a message from "Christine") it played a notification sound with the phone on silent. This is incorrect behavior. This would be annoying, but I'd deal with it if there were controls to disable notifications sounds in the app --but there's not, so no choice but to uninstall it.
