El “Congreso de Especialidades Veterinarias de AVEPA” se celebra anualmente en ciudades Españolas. Durante dos días se reúnen Veterinarios especialistas más de 18 especialidades para presentar, comentar, discutir y actualizar temas de interés común.
Este año el Congreso que reunirá a casi 1000 asistentes, se celebrará en el Palacio de Congresos de Zaragoza. Estas jornadas que cuentan con una vocación clara de acercar las diferentes especialidades y disciplinas, de las que consta nuestro ámbito profesional, al veterinario generalista, han alcanzado, sin lugar a dudas, su mayoría de edad.
Los objetivos desde el inicio del Congreso se han basado en poder ofrecer una plataforma a los grupos de especialidades de AVEPA que permite facilitar logística, organización y comunicación de sus actividades, aprovechar las múltiples sinergias entre sus programas científicos delante del interés de los asistentes, y concentrar por la mayor oferta global un importante número de veterinarios que pueden asistir a distintas sesiones.
A su vez estos Congresos han permitido llegar a diferentes zonas geográficas y acercar la formación a zonas donde normalmente es más difícil ofrecer amplios programas científicos con aproximadamente 10 salas simultaneas de conferencias.

CONTENIDO CIENTÍFICO
Numerosas novedades nos esperan en cada Congreso, una enorme oferta de formación, la posibilidad de interactuar con multitud de compañeros interesados en nuestra especialidad, aprender de ellos, y participar en los principales foros de las especialidades de nuestra profesión.
Especialidades veterinarias que participaron en la edición del Congreso en 2016: Anestesia, Cardiología y Aparato Respiratorio (GECAR), Cirugía y tejidos blandos, Dermatología (GEDA), Diagnóstico por imagen, Emergencias y cuidados intensivos, Endoscopia (GEA), Etología y conducta animal (GRETCA), Gestión de la clínica, Medicina felina (GEMFE), Medicina interna, Medicina y cirugía de animales exóticos (GMCAE), Neurología y neurocirugía, Nutrición, Odontología y cirugía oral (GOVA), Oftalmología, Oncología veterinaria (GEVONC), Rehabilitación y Fisioterápia, Reproducción y pediatría de animales de compañía (GERPAC), Traumatología y ortopedia (GEVO)

En el marco de uno de los mayores Congresos de Veterinaria de España más de 27 empresas se reunirán para ofrecer sus productos y servicios.

HISTORIA DEL CONGRESO
En el año 2002 se inauguró este proyecto con la celebración de su primer Congreso en la Facultad de Veterinaria de la UCM de Madrid. En aquella ocasión 9 grupos de trabajo de AVEPA presentaron sus programas, y 300 veterinarios asistieron a sus actividades.
Durante estos 14 años, el Congreso de Especialidades Veterinarias de AVEPA se ha organizado en diferentes facultades de Veterinaria: Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Zaragoza y Córdoba, debiendo destacar y agradecer desde la Asociación el excelente trato, ayuda y colaboración que todas estas facultades han aportado al Congreso.
La importante y exitosa evolución de este congreso ha permitido cambiar de la habitual presentación del mismo en Facultades de Veterinaria, a un Palacio de Congresos con todas las mejoras logísticas de comodidad y de imagen que esto supone.
La evolución del Congreso ha sido muy positiva en estos catorce años, llegando hasta la pasada edición en Toledo en la que han participado más de 925 asistentes. VETERINARY CONGRESS SPECIALTIES AVEPA-GTA ZARAGOZA 2016

The "Congress of Veterinary Specialties AVEPA" held annually in Spanish cities. Veterinary specialists for two days more than 18 specialties to present, discuss, discuss and update issues of common interest together.

HISTORY OF THE CONGRESS
In 2002 this project by holding its first congress at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, UCM Madrid was inaugurated. On that occasion nine working groups AVEPA presented their programs, and 300 veterinarians attended their activities.
During these 14 years, the Congress of Veterinary Specialties AVEPA has been organized in different faculties of Veterinary: Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Valencia, Zaragoza and Córdoba, must recognize and express appreciation from the Association the excellent treatment, help and support that all these powers have provided to Congress.
The important and successful evolution of this congress has allowed change in the usual presentation of the Faculties of Veterinary Medicine, at a conference center with all the logistical improvements comfort and image that implies.
The evolution of the Congress has been very positive in these fourteen, reaching last year in Toledo in which involved more than 925 attendees.
