生態交通全球盛典簡介
生態交通全球盛典(EcoMobility World Festival and Congress 2017)是由ICLEI(地方永續發展理事會)所屬組織「生態交通聯盟(EcoMobility Alliance)」與會員城市共同舉辦，其目的是將未來所期待的低碳、節能、生態交通型態，透過舉辦1個月的盛典活動，讓民眾實際感受生態交通所帶給社會、經濟、健康及居住環境上的好處，核心精神為「一個社區、一個月、綠色低碳運具使用」，主要活動內容含有生態交通示範區、國際生態交通研討會、低碳運具展覽及居民參與的社區活動。
而生態交通(EcoMobility)之定義為從步行、騎自行車、使用電動車輛、公共運輸到汽車共享皆屬生態交通範疇。ICLEI(地方政府永續發展理事會)於1990年成立，截至2013年全球已有86個國家、超過1,000個地方政府成為會員，現為全球最大之承諾永續發展之地方政府網絡，致力於地方永續社區與城市計畫，強調居民共同參與，以達成公平、安全、韌性、活力經濟及健康環境之目標。
高雄市於95年加入ICLEI，後於102年4月加入「生態交通聯盟(EcoMobility Alliance)」，本市為台灣第一個加入該組織的會員城市亦為創始會員城市。陳菊市長更於104年9月24日自上一屆生態交通聯盟主席韓國昌原市手中接任「2016-2017年生態交通聯盟主席」一職，帶領各城市推動生態交通、低碳宜居生活。
2017年由高雄市政府主辦生態交通全球盛典活動，將於106年10月1日-31日於駁二蓬萊倉庫與哈瑪星社區盛大登場，會中將有一個月的時間呈顯「哈瑪星生態交通示範社區」的營造成果，並展開一系列的「在地文史表演活動」及「低碳運具與環境教育展覽」，並於10月2日-4日辦理「生態交通世界大會」的舉辦。 歡迎您的共襄盛舉。 Introduction to global ecological festival traffic
