EV Connect

At the Galleria Mall in White Plains, NY I tried using the EV connect app- GE charging station, with my 2015 Ford Fusion. Unfortunately, the charging station was not connecting, even though the app instructed me to plug in the charging adapter. I tried multiple times for twenty minutes , but still did not work. I recommend the company evaluates it's connectivity issues with its charging machines.

This app sucks. It hangs at "loading" all the time. This company sucks: they are in the business of persuading charge site providers to force you to use their buggy app instead of a simple on/off switch, charge button, or always-on charger! After all, it's free, so why should you have to use this broken app to turn it on? When you call the phone number EV Connect prints on these chargers to try to have them turned on manually, nobody answers. Nice, huh?

Having issue with unknown installation error code -505. Galaxy S6 user, I used to use this app without any issues, after factory resetting, only this app has a install problem.

I have an electric car for over a year now. I love it never going back to gas cars. Super easy to use.

App is broken and no one answered their phone number.

Easy to find, use and pay for charging. Love that it tells you how your charging session is progressing.

Works fine for me and charge cost is same as home rate.

This app is hands down the best for using and paying for ever charging. Well done!

Install fails consistently despite remedial efforts. Difficult to evaluate, let alone use. Browser got me connected, but you really need to work on the app.

does download on Samsung Galaxy S6. 505 code error. need this to charge at my office. please fix.

App will not install Galaxy 7. Waste of time, no support or help whatsoever. Not worth the cost. (free!)

Tried 3 times, can't download. Call 866 no, the attendant was rude, asked for my phone and email and hung up on me!

I had this app before, I uninstalled it for a while . Today again when I try to install it fails with some error code 505. Sucks.

So I drove all the way to a station with 12 miles left and I can't download the app because there's an error message so now I have no way to charge my car...

And when you don't even expect that the free station won't work without it, it doesn't help. Luckily, the web based portal enabled charging.

Seemless charging.

I'm not sure why this app is still so GPS / Battery intensive? The stability has improved, but if I don't force stop it, it will drain my smartphone dry in like 2hrs.

app no longer alert when charge is done. plz fix ASAP!

Worst app I have ever used. Seems to hang every time I put in my userid and password. Have to continually call the company to reboot the charging station. Perhaps this thing was written by an oil company to make you give up on your electric car.

Not near as good as old recargo app.

No charging stations listed for the Atlanta area. Only good for California and Northeastern US. The sign in screen needs different colors. It's very hard to read white type on a light green background. Come on guys.

Simple and easy to use

Easy to use application and I must add..great programming.

Well done app. Everything is well designed, smooth, and efficient. Paypal integration is definitely a plus and much more convenient with QR scanning and station ID input.

Mostly for the west coast

As an EV Driver and user of EV Connect stations, I must say this app is awesome. It is leaps and bounds above the Key Fob I used to have to carry around.
