Wicap. Sniffer Pro [ROOT] for Android
I purchased today the "Wicap. Sniffer Pro [ROOT]" app and installed it on my rooted device. When I try to capture traffic it failed, this is from the log: unable to start "/proc/self/exe": No such file or directory This is using LineageOS 7.1.2 Anything I can do? I tried uninstall and install it didn't help.
Has some extended benefits on top of being able to analysis saved capture pockets from Wireshark and visa versa.. Really convenient for Analysis source code file's, profiles to. All the other Applications are just a great as this one.
We are waiting for the version 2.0 ... we hope it will bring more options
Price is high but worth the money
Love the app. Some more features in Mitm would be interesting. But its a awesome app.Worth every penny
This application is great - a must for any network engineer's Android device!
UPDATE: Reinstall fixed the issue. Anyway it is still quite unintuitive. Tried to save packets and spent a couple of minutes finding how to do them. Why have you put "Save as..." on play button long click ?! It is completely unintuitive and info FAQ is useless. Move Param section into three vertical dots (it is not commonly used section) and add section Action with Save As... | Open | etc.

I tried the trial and got it working, decided to buy the full version and cannot get it going. Yes I have root access, yes Ive read the "info" sections. I cannot seem to capture any traffic. Any suggestions?
Wiggly
I installed it but it doesn't work.
It is good.
Flirting this app for long time, now decided to compromise my self. I know now, this will be a long and a full of adventures relationship.. Thank you!!!
is there any editor for. cap on Windows or Mac?
This is the best sniffer on th Android market, developer continues to update and improve. New implementation "SMS" utilizing Xposed is genius. LG G3 Rooted n such.
It is refreshing to see a REAL piece of software on the Play Store. Calling this original piece of software an "app" is disrespectful. $10 makes it a bit pricey, but that is only because most of us have become accustomed to worthless, bloated $2 apps that do nothing but run a shell script in the background. This app rocks! I will be paying attention to anything this developer releases. :)
This is by far the best network capture tool that there is for the Android. A must have for anyone who needs the equivalent of Wireshark. Love, love this application!
Just get this! Totally worth the small charge and amounts to having Wireshark in the palm of your hand!
Price is high but worth the money
Great app

Well worth the money. Let's face it, we really want Wireshark for Android but this app is as good as it gets right now. UI is not very comfortable but once figured out has a lot of functionality. I needed to track ARP requests and found direct support in one of the menus. Excellent work by the author(s).
Exactly what I was after. Worth it!
Refreshing to find quality code on gPlay, easily worth the price tag.
The power of Wireshark and Kali lite in your pocket. Very polished and stable app.
Any suggestions where I should start would be welcome!

Good app, but make sure to keep order number. This is the only app that said it couldn't verify license and requires emailing order number to reactivate. Inconvenient!

Loved it from the moment I tried the demo. Been waiting for someone to create this for Android. No problems importing cap files created with Wi.cap into Wireshark. Really nice work here! My only request would be for user controls for text coloration. Otherwise, packet capture & analysis for Android doesn't get any better. Reduced price makes it worth every penny. If you want this functionality for your Android device, don't waste your time with anything else. Thanks, dev!
If you are comfortable with packet sniffers, you will hit the ground running with this app. Extremely useful for troubleshooting or exploring a LAN. A must-have tool for many.
I'm far from a expert and really had no clue what any of this meant before I installed this app, I still lack a lot but this app has thought me so much in the last few month's
I use Wireshark and tcpdump regularly but this was impossible to me to use. The developer kindly refunded my purchase price.

Very advanced app with a long learning curb.
Very nice.
Has collection of tools that cannot be found elsewhere all in one place.. Very advanced.. Excellent. Had question-dev responded within minutes!
I hate what I had to pay for this but I couldn't find another app that did the trick. I was getting a lot of network traffic coming to my Android and couldn't figure out why despite installing several other network monitors. This one worked and allowed me to see what was going on. No regrets in the purchase even though it was on the pricey side.
Thankyou ! bugs fixed on my Lg G3 .... 5 stars

The best (read: most powerful) tool of its kind on Android. Complex, with a somewhat confusing and unorthodox UI, and expensive by Android app standards, but these are hurdles worth jumping if intricate, on-device packet analysis is essential to you.
