I loved this app. I have used it for a few years, first on my Galaxy S Epic, then on my S4. I upgraded to an S7 Edge and found that I could not import all of my history. The import export feature is slow. I had to wait for the data to show up in the app. I have used this app since 2010. This app needs a refresh for the new phones. More stars if it gets an update to fix the glitches.

Saving my mileages and fillups everytime, now I've worked out my mpg myself and this app DOES NOT work. Lazy people use your brains! Uninstalling as soon as I record my mileages on paper. Utter rubbish.

Backups and exporting do not work on the Nexus 4. By default The program is set to save to removable storage, but The Nexus 4 doesn't offer that functionality and there is no way to change it. This is important. The app is useless if it data can't he saved. I emailed, but no reply from developer.

The Import / Export access couldn't be more cryptic, Wow! Press as hold your Square or Drawer button on your Navigation Button bar, then it magically appears. Also, if you are getting errors importing a saved database file, try to rename the file to something different from the automatically generated file.

When this was being developed it was a great app. However it is going on 5 years of being abandoned (even the developer's web site is gone). I wouldn't use this (since it is abandoned). NOTE: You can extract your data from this and import it into other apps so you don't lose any data.

I've loved the simplicity of this app for years. But no cloud data backup for transfers (not all phones have an SD card) and lack of response to the removal of the Menu button from the Android UI means a significant loss of it's functionality. Dead app. No updates since 2012...

Easy to use, but needs cloud integration. Basic logging and calculations are fine, but statistics are totally messed up. I'm retired and have filled up my tank 11x in 6 months, yet My Fill up info: Avg: $324.84 Maximum: $4177.37 Estimated per year: $9378.08 And, supposedly it costs me $1.23 to drive one mile. That means I couldn't drive 50 miles on one tank of gas.

I have been using this app for over 3 years on a Samsung Galaxy S4, and it worked fine. Recently, I upgraded to the Galaxy S8, and it seemed like there was no easy way to transfer my data to this app. Forget the export/ import method in SQLite I was successful in getting my data to transfer on my S8, by exporting the database as a .csv spreadsheet file. Importing was a little tricky. You have to follow the prompts and pick the right date format. It will tell you if the date "parses " properly. BTW, you can still have two cars. I had 110 entries, and all carried over exactly as listed on my old phone, and statistics were exactly the same. The menu button is on the bottom right, with three small dots. Good luck.

Evan in the description you say "* Streamlined import and export", in the phone app on my LG G4 I can not see that ability at all. I had issues with my leased phone and got a new device and have a back up file I want to import but don't see anyway how to do that, I went so far as to hook up my phone to my computer so I could see the folder of the app and placed that file in there. Went back to the app and still nothing. Please restore the ability to export/import. I sent you an email, today so I will be waiting your response.

New Android Phone Issue! I enjoyed the app for what it did. Was nice and easy, though I always wanted some kind of 'fuzzy math' option for the time you might fill up and forget to put the numbers in, and have to skip ahead. I upgraded from a galaxy s4 to an s7, and the face buttons have changed, so I can't access the settings to import my data into the new phone. Once that's updated, I'll bump a star or 2 on the review.

I need a quick way to log my fuel cost and mpg. This does it. Improvements: Color would be nice. The history should also show the notes. Currently the only way to view the notes is to edit the data. Bugs: Slight bug. After I add a fuel fill up, if I notice I have made a mistake I will go back and edit the data. The correction does not show up until I return to history.

Partial fill calculator only works correctly when you exit the program and re-open. When the data is entered, it initially uses just the most recent fill, ignoring the previous partial. Exiting seems to trigger recalculation, and then average between fills is correct. Would be nice if this calculation was correct right of the bat. Likewise, when switching from mi/gal to L/100km, had to exit and reopen for units to update.

I updated phones today and when I reinstalled this app and tried to restore my backup file it doesn't work. It says it had been restored but there's no informed loaded, everything is still blank.

I have faithfully used this app for years across multiple phones. This is because I backed up the data and imported to the new phone. When I decided to upgrade to a S6 I discovered that I could no longer back up my data. There is no longer an option to do that. FML. Five years of data GONE. There are other apps with cloud storage built in people. Learn from my experience. Pick a different app to track your mileage if you want to keep your data when you change phones or after a factory reset.

This is a very easy to use app to use.. BUT it seriously needs an updated version to cope with transferring data to a new device... I've lost at about 4 years data from 3 cars which I will never get back... Installed on new device but menu button has disappeared... I've have given it 2 stars but would easily be 4 or 5 if it gets updated

This is a pretty good app but I wish there was a quicker way to input the information because you're in such a hurry when you're trying to gas up. ( perhaps carry over data from the last fill up?) Fix this and I will give you 5 stars.

I cannot launch the app, navigate to the History tab, and select my secondary vehicle from the list without the app crashing. If I move to some other tabs and change the drop down and come back to the history tab, it seems to work.

Its a good app, does what it says, but backing up and importing could be better, in that it could actually work. and the ability to backup and restore a backup from a specified location would be a nice improvement. though as this app has not seen an update since 2013, I don't think the creator is working on this anymore.

Started using this app 2 years ago and it has served me well, easy to use and does what it says on the tin. But there hasn't been any updates or improvements made, it's the same as the day I got it. There are other apps which have full websites to accompany them and to compare to other people with the same vehicle etc to see how your car/driving is against another person's. Lost me as a user, uninstalled.

I use this app religiously since 2011. Ive even exported from 1 phone to another. Now that I have a Note 4 without a Menu button there is no way to get to settings to be able to import my history. Unless this is updated I will have to start looking for something different.

This app is easy to use and works great on my ICS Galaxy s3. I'm seeing a mention of saving the fill-up locations, but I don't see anywhere to add this when inputting a fill-up, although when I look at the statistics, there is something in the fill-up locations of North, South, East, and West--where is this coming from? If from GPS or similar, that could be a problem, since I don't enter the info until later when I arrive at my destination, so it would be incorrect if that's the case.

These are gone from the app. I am swapping out phones and the data does not migrate and there is no way I can see to get it. I had always liked this app as I have used it for 4 cars. Now I can't. Bummer!

I've been using this for a long time. Great app. It would be nice to add in some user error validation though. So catching it if I enter numbers that are clearly off such as an odometer that is 1000 miles away from the last entry or gas that costs hundreds of $$. I'd also like it to tab more logically. Odometer first, then price, then gallons. Gallons is out of the loop

This is the best app to keep track of your fuel consumption so far. The only thing that sucks about it is its graphs. Generate better graphs and you get my fifth star! Keep up the great work! :)

Today after a standard fill-up I hit the save fill-up button and all my data both today's and historical went away. I have tried to input tool but nothing appears. Any ideas? Prior to today this was an excellent app.

Used program for a year...was great. Two months ago switched to Samsung galaxy 5...since that time, it is worthless...can't register more than the default vehicle...which, I guess, is ok, since you can't enter any information either. Requests to the creator are ignored.

I have used this app for several years and loved it as a way to track my fuel economy for my Jetta diesel. But I recently bought a new Prius and want to keep separate statistics on my new car. I tried repeatedly, and finally just gave up. I uninstalled the app and will reinstall it for my new car. But I won't be able to compare performance. I guess folks wouldn't be able to use the app for more than one car.

Used to be a great app, but has not worked on my phone on ics or jelly bean. Stats are all wonky, dates not in order... totally useless now and it seems the developer has given up on support and updates. A shame as it was the best. I switched to Fuelio app, not looking back.

Its a really great. The one problem I for me is with the second vehicle. It lets me add the second vehicle and input fill ups but it crashes when I try to access the history for the second vehicle... so I cant see any stats oe history for the second vehicle! Other than that its awesome.

I tried four other free gas mileage trackers. This is the first that was accurate, bug free, and refreshingly easy. Now that I discovered the graphs when you tap any statistic line, I am downright smitten. :)

Got new phone. Got app and used it for 3 fillups before exporting data from old phone. When importing that data it OVERWRITES any existing data, and doesn't merge. So my 9 months of perfect record keeping are now gone because this app couldn't remember I might need those 3 little fillups. Thanks developer for the horrible oversight.

App is simple and streamlined, great if you want something to do one thing and do it well. One annoying bug, though: in lollipop, entering data in landscape mode (which is how my phone is mounted in my car), the text entry fields that come up skip over the total number of gallons ... So every time I enter data, I've got to back out of the text field and manually hit the gallons field.

When there is an option to choose the units ( litres and km ), why does the first screen still ask the measurements in gallons?!

This is a great app. I have used it continuously for two years. Would gladly and easily pay for it if it were not for free. Question for the developer or other users - I recently upgraded from an Evo to the Galaxy Note II and can't figure out how to port over the data. I have exported the info from my old phone and even transferred it to Dropbox as a way of getting it to the Note II but can't figure out how to import it on the other side. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I just upgraded to the galaxy s5 and since there is no menu button on the s5 I have no way to import my old data from my previous phone. I emailed the developer about this problem but he never responded. I will rate 5 stars when this is fixed
