Hans Wehr (Arabic Almanac)

The version with the page-swipe function is a disaster. The screens have become unstable and keep on jumping back to original tiny (unreadable) size even when I am not moving to the next page , even when I purposely keep my fingers away from the screen - very frustrating. The old version with the "next page" function was vastly superior.

Update has wrecked this app. The app was perfect before the update. Though you have a right to charge for your work, it saddens me that you have chose to done so especially when the original dictionary is not your own. Display is gone worse, annoying adverts are shown at the bottom and the app at times refuses to respond. Very, very disappointing.

Been using the App for years. Recently after an update it completely stopped working and now doesn't show a single page of the dictionary, just a blank gray page (even after multiple re-downloads). Was very close to purchasing but now extremely disappointed

Update has destroyed this app. I actually paid as well because I felt the dev deserved it, but now I regret it. Just to monetise it, you've ruined an extremely useful app. I will look for a pirated version of the old app and keep that!

Free version was working fine on my mipad 2 nicely. I paid for this app but it stopped working it shows on loading with blank screen

This app use to brilliant. Now, everytime I use it, it doesn't work not can you access it offline. A big disappointment....

Recent update seems to have fixed all bugs. Working great once again. Many thanks to the developer!

Excellent App

Terrible after update! I used to use this app almost every day but now only works online. Tried to download files to enable offline use but didn't work. And since trying to download the files, it has stopped working altogether. Disappointed.

Arabic dictionaries are notoriously tricky since everything is arranged by a given word's root and one needs a good year or more of MSA (Modern Standard Arabic) in order to understand how to find a word's root and what the various patterns of the word mean. No Arabic dictionary app came close to the usefulness of Hans Wehr's dictionary...until now. Now you can have your trusty Hans Wehr with you wherever you go, making your Arabic life that much easier.

The offline mode has been restored and the ads can be removed by paying a trivial cost which is well worth paying. It's such a useful app, it's been my companion for years and I use it nearly every day. It's highly recommended for any Arabic student!

Please bring back the old version which was great and did not need internet connection. I regret updating that app. Thank you for your speedy and helpful response. May Allah reward you abundantly. I used to use this App daily but since the upgrade I can't even see the dictionary pages to scroll and nor will the search work! I'm using this on a Samsung Note 3. Please put the old version back. I have to search for another dictionary now :-(

After updated, it becomes worse..I can't even open the app and it says error report...I hope u can do it better than this

Annoyed! I paid to remove adds and now it won't even work. It was fine before after the updates the pages won't come back.

Since the new update, i havent been able to use the app. It was easy to use before this. Can you please fix the problem
