Etherophone for Android
Please add a settings option, this is one of my favourite apps but i can't change the settings on my oneplus
I really enjoy this app and would give it five stars but for one little detail: an ability to record; with 'set as...' function. Still it's a great app!
Since downloading the update to four-voice polyphony, the notes linger for roughly two-thirds of a second after removing my finger from the screen- even at the maximum decay setting. The minimum decay settings are unusable. I would prefer two-voice polyphony and notes that stop when I ask to four-voice polyphony and no quick stops. Otherwise, this has been one of my favorite all-time apps. I have delighted and annoyed ( but mostly annoyed ) onlookers for several years.
Very basic and does what it does well. Too bad lines are only for whole notes ("white keys") and there is no note rounding.
A very great app that's very intuitive, just be sure and go into the settings and make it like you want! And you can use more than one finger at a time!
U should really consider a settings button. For the people who don't use Samsung...I use a HTC desire C.....not having a settings button is really a downfall. Sad app.
Needs a tremolo.... Also an update. Droid razr for about an hour after use my phone speakers click loudly at random intervals
Another awesome music app. Unlike ED, the sound is not quantised or harmonised, giving a much more realistic theremin sound. With multitouch.
I love the program, but wish it worked on my computer. I imagine the group play potential, the potential of reading music (even as ensembles), very large public screens,
Nice I guess. And if Peter ever tells us how to get to the settings, that could boost it up to 5 stars.

This app offers two note polyphony and it sound fairly smooth as you slide through the notes. If you are looking for a bendy sounding synth then give Etherophone a try.
Thanks for a great app
It's interesting and silly. Get s annoying, though.
I was looking for bebot but found this sounds the same.just needs q character!
One thing I would add though is effects like a tremelo and delay.
Excellent. Nice tone, and very accurate finger registration too. Good enough to do very subtle vibrato. OMG! Just found it's multi-touch!
Its cool can also entertain/distract kiddo when they are having a moment
Could use a more gradual volume scale though (volume explodes at the very left).
lovin it ! now how about some fx- echo, reverb,loop-please : ))))
It's great for passing time and making funny sounds :-)
Works just as I expected. Some aliasing noise, but this is a budget phone. Thank you!
dig the size and permissions, well done dev
Now I can play Star Trek and Star Wars theme songs.
my cat loves me like 5x+ the normal amount when i squeak at her like a mouse using the highest soprano really quietly! so 5 stars.
not a theremin, but a great time waster. settings for ranges, registers, envelope and harmonics. very fun when you're away from your instruments.
Great app and for the first time I saw an app that says it doesn't need any special permissions.
Good fun instrument. Needs fx rack. Cool.
Best thing since Dr. Theremin invented the remains!
Fascinating and it entertains the grandbaby too!
I love this app, it's fun to mess around with especially now with 4 inputs. It drives my cat crazy too
Update is awesome. 4 fingers ftw!
This is a fantastic app, I am so impressed especially since it is possible to have multiple voices! Great job
I really like how this Theramin-synth allows you to change the attack and release of the notes and allows multiple simultaneous tones. The 'slide' over a range of pitches is the smoothest I've found out of the 5 theramin programs I've tried out. The simple interface is easy to pickup. Not only fun, but a well designed app!
It does what it's supposed to. However there's a couple of things I'd like to mention. Firstly, the sound quality could be better - I get some clicking noises when I slide my finger, especially when moving vertically, and its most noticeable in lower frequencies. Secondly, We could do with more effects (other than just volume) on the vertical axis. Good work on the app though, Peter. Fifth star only reserved for the suggested changes. Thanks :-)
As an instrument this is actually pretty cool. You can even use two fingers at once! Unlike some similar apps which only allow one. The unfortunate thing is that this thing sounds WAY too much like a theremin. Which in its own way is fantastic. But in another way really limiting in what you can use it for because let's face it: the theremin sounds kind of awful. Despite the 3 star rating this is a highly recommended download. I just hope to see more sounds on this in the future.
Extremely nice app, but screwed up my phone's audio after starting and closing the app, with the only fix being restarting the phone. CM7 EVO 4G
Decent. A lot of aliasing and Nyquist artifacts though...clearly not made by a signals engineer. But decent for the price :)
