The app is always awake in the background and uses too much of RAM ~ 30-32 MB draining battery. The other news apps do not use as much RAM plus fix this

Recently lot of issues with regard to speed and efficiency has surfaced. It takes time to load the app and the news even when data speed of 1 mbps is available.

After the latest update it has shown a new problem. It takes too much time to start the application. Kindly fix the issue

Latest update gives issue with scrolling... It moves the header with scrolling up m down, making it messy.

Latest update has ruined the app. It takes forever to load even on 4G or WiFi.

Don't give sport notification on a finance news app. Or add notification filtering option in setting so that user can set it

Application is not refreshing news and most of the times it keeps loading wont open

when screen is off and then on it sets the current article to the top of it,fix it please

The bug fix update introduced more bugs - sharing articles resets reading position in article, app has become laggy and doesn't load up at times despite having good connection. No dark theme. Is heavier & slower than before updating. Notifications are not working. The design is much better than before though.

App is a good source of economic news. Though the last update broke the same. Screen goes black and white. Update the previous issue fixed but not able to read morning or evening brief because of the advertisement.

2017 onwards, updates have ruined this good app. 1. The widget is gone. I used to read 15-20 articles a day on this app. Now I open it once a week. 2. New bugs. Looks like there is no testing environment after the Dev process. 3. App mgmt is like the great wall. So many people are putting up suggestions and issues, but the makers of the all seem to shut their eyes ears and minds. This is not a news paper. I'm shifting to better apps like Business Standard and Mint.

This app is very good source of news But there is some minor bugs the main problem is when we minimise the app and then reopen it it didn't take us to our last page that we are reading instead of it it starts from beginning which is so irritating.

From last few days this app has become worst. Unable to open the app and unable to read anything inspite of multiple attempts. Request you to kindly fix the issue as this app is of no use if we cant read any news.

A number of cons: Of 10 times you post comments, 8 times it says "Unable to post comments. Please try after some time." It's so irritating to get that message after you've written whole of your comment in the box. Can't use the app offline (wonder why), News figuring in drawer is extremely difficult to find in the app, Very confusing app design. Ad placement was in conflict with the comment box, but has now been addresses. I'm sure there's been no focus in user testing. Pure high handedness.

As I visit the economic times site there is one tab called Definition in which non-economic person can find specific meaning of any finance/economics related word. Please add this tab in App also. Otherwise The ET is the best app for news

Everytime I press back button after reading news, it scrolls back to the top, I have to scroll down everytime to read next news. Ads are displayed exactly on top of comment box.

Loading of app takes lot of times in full network also.. getting 3 to 4 days old news is main page..fix the error

I think the app seems a tad brighter than the pre-update !! Like having controls over font size !! We can have background theme or brightness settings in the app !!Coz it's abnormally brighter in dark rooms !!

Adds are making lot of disturbance.. Screen is not moving out. Please provide an option to skip adds (like YouTube)

If the app is minimized, the article is refreshed (as in it shows the beginning of the article) instead where the article was left off (this feature was available in the last version).

I love it. It very much useful for touching with current news & also stock market related & status of self portfolio .

The new version of app do not give the option of choosing the background colour unlike the previous version...i request to provide that option as well because it hurts while reading at night!

This is supposed to be a business news journal, stop giving real time updates on cricket scores.

This app is best of saving time & very much useful in budget, finance news.

When i click on "Software" option in "Tech" menu, the app crashes and says "unfortunately economic times have stopped". Please fix this bug. I use Asus Zenfone 2 laser, running Android 6.0.1
