ES Task Manager (Task Killer )

Really buggy on my galaxy s7 edge. Always fails to clean cache and doesn't rescan running processes in task manager. Overall this app has no problem eliminating running processes and works pretty well without the intrusive bugs.

The app finally loads. The only issue now is that when you run the kill feature, it's just a spinning dial with no text and doesn't do anything. If you back out and pick it again it says complete but your ram is still what it was. OS 8.0

EDIT: tyvm for Android O support. When I optimized my battery, my physical buttons i.e. home, back, multitasking stopped vibrating when pressed

I use it to control startup items. The other features seem to get in the way and I honestly try not to accidentally clicked on them so they don't activate power optimization or clean anything by accident. It's very easy to bump one of these buttons when opening the app.

Doesn't work on the Google pixel 2 xl , all I get is a black screen... UPDATE - Still not working with v2.0.6.4 put out on January 15th 2018. App will not load completely, all that happens is that I get a black screen and if I do not force close the app it will continue to run in the background draining my battery. I use to love this app, would be one of the first apps that I install when changing roms and when getting a new device. But since the app no longer functions properly on Android 8.0 and up I have had to move on from this app and I will no longer waste my time trying to get it to work, hoping that a new update will fix problem that the developer chooses to ignore. I would give a negative rating if possible.

I hate being forced to rate to aquire features. You really think "rate for help" sends a good feel across to your users?

I've always had this app on all my devices for a cache cleaner and task killer. But on my new ZTE Max Pro when I try to clean the 2 gb of cache it says I have, after a few moments of "working" it says 0.00 mb cache cleaned. And since my phone has it's own task killer I'm very upset to find no use for this app any longer &have to try and find another cache cleaner worthy of my trust. =[

Hello again, this tiny but not simple app sure require a lot of permissions. I asked for an explaination on the es file manager permissions but I haven't heard from you. Now this tiny one has even more. I need those explaination guys. Everybody is getting hacked nowadays. First the NSA, then facebook and now yahoo 32 million accounts. If I don't look after my stuff, who will?

Problem with ads while working online. Although I could use it offline to avoid ads. Otherwise, it's a good app with all functions I need - Same as task manager.

Why isn't this included in the es file explorer i bought, i don't want any adds it's intrusive, also it doesn't seem to actually close any app or clear any cache

No longer works on Nexus 6P (and it used to work fine). All I get is a black screen.

Not working at all on Oreo 8.1 Pixel C. Black screen only, then get "Stopped" toast.

This is the only app that really kills the working background apps I tried lots of apps professional or free even the most famed one but all of them I can simply say fake ones as every time I used them and go to check memory or cached apps I found all background ones working efficiently as if I had started them up not stopped them except your apps in case I use it to kill apps it stops them actually it is the only honest one I use till now really u have no competitive at all u r number one until now although ur app is free with no bugging ads but as a greedy can u add an automatic ram free as am sure u r the only who can make it. Thaaaaaanxxxx u r worth all praise.

Worked amazing till the 8.1 update today. I get a black screen. No app

After updating to 8.0.0 app just displays black screen and freezes up.

ES added a new feature that has a chance to interrupt typing to bring up s shortcut to the screen you drag down from the top. Uninstalling all their apps

This app really cleans up all those unnecessary files and speeds up your devices! A must-have if I say so...

Cache removal doesn't work, it needs to install as an accessibility service. Asks to install ES file explorer, yet I have it, pro. Otherwise other features work as described for me, so far. Thanks

I have been using this with ES Explorer, it gets the job done, if rooted you can find better apks. FIBER0PTIC
