Estes Rockets for Android
I love this... My husband is not new to the hobby but I am and found this very useful on picking out what to build next
This app is kinda cool. I gave it a 3 because I would like to see a my rockets tab so you can have a list of the ones you own to easily access them. It would also be cool if it had a list of the engines, amount of wadding, and placement of the tape on the launch rod.
Need to list rockets with thumbnails. I'm not going to click on every rocket name to see what they look like. Fix it to make this a useful app. Also the camera part is not needed in this app
Good app. Now i can get more awesome Estes products!
Wish app had a section for my rockets. Would also be helpful if you could enter in your custom or the ones missing from the database rockets. Flight history tracking would be cool too.
Not a bad app but definitely in need of an update.
This app looks like it might be fan developed... so sorry if I offend... rough, laggy, not formatted for S4, oh well.
How much gb do it use
Not all rockets in projector, graphics are horrible, links you to website for more information about variants. Overall not impressed, but they have a good idea.
It is a good app but is there any way that you guys at Estes could advertise your products to get more people involved in rocketry like on TV or YouTube or maybe even a billboard
I really like the app. but the main reason for my using this app was the altitude tracker. Unfortunately, none of the app features work without 3G or Wi-fi access. At the two sites I am using in SW PA, neither has 3G access, so the Altitude tracker app won't work !?! Why pray tell, do I need Internet access to calculate the rocket's altitude? I would expect to use the tilt sensor or possibly GPS on my Android phone would be enough. Other than this, I like the app
Nice one !! Love the altitracker
The app is OK and I happy Estes decided to take the time to go a little more high-tech but there is another issue i'd like Estes to address so hopefully they'll take this advise... I live in north eastern Ontario and I'm sad to say that model rocketry is as much unknown to kids now than it was 20yrs ago. I blame that on the fact that Estes makes no effort at pulling in young kids here. No advertising ever, not sold in major stores etc. Estes! Help get the kids outside! Do you operate the same way in the US?

As a NAR Section president, I can see this getting lots of use on the field.
Why is this incompatible with my Nexus 7?
