Esso Extra App

This app opens fine; however it will not close........I have to restart my android just to close it. Have uninstalled & reinstalled multiple times on two different phones but still the same. It is extremely FRUSTRATING!!!

Junk app, Web based doesn't fit screen properly extremely limited can't do much from it still have to sign in to website to do most things making the app useless..can't scan bar codes with it so your stuck with having to carry the cards anyways. Would have been an awsome app if this was the 80s.. seriously pull it together

I do not want to card extra cards in my wallet. I have enough of them. This app needs to show the card so it can be scanned. Also it needs to remember the password instead of having to type it every time. Esso is more convenient for me. But I will go 2 min out of my way to Petrocan where I have no issues. If you ever fix these problems please let me know so I have a choice.

20th century technology with 19th century content. Back to the future...Admin needs to wake up, it's already 2016...almost everything is linked to a mobile device. UNINSTALLED.

No real benefit for this app, unless you shop at Esso. Okay to keep if you like apps cluttering your device. Most links will take you to a browser, so why not just access the site with your browser?

I can login through my browser but on app it says your email is not in system. Seriously?

Not useful. Possible that because the Company isn't that big they can't afford a real app.... uninstall.

Plz add the scan bars including esso pricileges in same scanner or the small card for keyholders,so that way we dont have to carry two cards all around with us.all the other points cards has the app with scan bars and a keyholders.

Waste of time... made me change my password for like 2 times thinking I'm doing wrong but there is something wrong with the app...

Can't login... email invalid... login to the website no problem. Crap

Would be nice if it could remember your password, so you don't have to punch it in all the time.

Cannot log in, reset password, logged in on website but still cannot in app. Contacted customer support, no help. Why bother with making an app that cannot be used.

This app was supposed to be updated by april 30 2016 to work as an app for cashiers to scan your points card from your phone. Where is that update?

All the app does is load the mobile version of the Esso Extra website.

Can't load my offers. Also, it's not an app. It just links you to their website.

No scan capabilities

This App gave me all the information that I needed, Easy to use and understand.

This app should display how many liters you have left on your fuel rewards cards. Also, the app doesn't display properly on my Sony Xperia Z2 and hasn't since KitKat.

App does not work. Says my email address is not in their system, which cannot be true since I can access my account fine online from a computer. Absolute garbage app, please fix.

Echo comments of previous writers. Wouldn't recognize my email address. Had to remove and reinstall app with help desk assistance . Finally worked, then wouldn't let me exit the program. Still doesn't. Should have a barcode EE e-card to allow in- store scanning. Additional registered card needed for other bonuses is a pain.

If I could rate this app zero, I would. It tells me that my email is not registered in their system, even though I have received a confirmation from them when I set up my online account using my PC. Garbage app.

Where's the option to show your card number on your phone? I don't want to have to carry the plastic card to collect rewards. A barcode should be available in the app to scan at the counter. Most other reward apps have this feature, including Petro Canada's app and Canadian Tire's app.

This is not an app, this is a webwork interface. Esso please hire some good programers, it will help you! 1. Can't log in on the so called app. 2. Needs a ton of improvement a) real app, b) can't load page shows blank and black page, c) throw errors after you press back button or home. d) cant login. 3. Actual web site on PC is a huge difference working flawless! This so called app is not ready yet maybe one day, but now is more frustrating than rewarding.

This just links t you to the website. Should be able to use to replace card and possible get bonus points perks

Have to log in every time. You end up having to open the website up in a browser to do anything. Makes the App useless.

Despite of putting the correct email address and card number, gives me error saying 'account does not exist' where as I can log in perfectly to my account on my computer. Just uninstalled it, such a waste of time and efforts. Worst part is I see so many reviews complaining about the same issues and obviously no actions have been taken so far. Great customer service I see!

Will let you sign in but you have to actually type out your email address. If you use auto fill it won't recognize your email for some reason

This app should have a drop down that includes your "esso card" just like air miles or petro

I installed this app wishing to scan my phone for purchase points. Can't do that so I am uninstalling the app. AND I am NOT carrying 2 Esso cards in my wallet either. Maybe I will buy my gas elsewhere also. I do have choices.... Just saying.

Please let me know when my extra and privledge cards can be linked and the numbers used, save me from 2 cards in my wallet. I read below Petro Cans does... I'll try them.

The app is just as bad as trying to get around on the website on my phone. It's a complete waste of time and effort. I wasted 3.33mb of data downloading it

Too many product promo ads for the stores. This app does not serve the basic function of replacing the plastic card or tracking the volume of fuel purchased. The app serves no value.

I was hoping to eliminate all my cards from my wallet. So rather than putting gas and scanning my card for points I would us my phone. Guess their app hasn't evolved with the times.
