ESPN

The app makes it difficult to track scores and updates for the leagues and cups that aren't the top leagues in football. Please make changes to allow ease of access to different leagues, cups, scores and news as it were in the ESPNFC App solely for football. Secondly the current app combines sports that I'm not interested in and would like to simply have a football app please. 3 stars was an extremely high rating.

ESPN, my #1 sports app. So much better than everyone else. Scores are great, videos are the best, news feeds are good, highlights are fantastic. Don't really like receiving news feeds from leagues I don't follow. Would also like to have the option to follow as many teams as you'd like. Other than that, everything is going well. Keep updating & improving the ESPN app. Thanks for all your hard work.

ESPN well to me i actually like this you can broadcast on the your phones tablets computers and mobile devices. Mighcan Wolverines is the team i like now they've a Football team Hockey team Baseball team and Basketball team and Soccer team. And also if this app has problems i will talk about it who has been lose connection. And contact with your team.

I'm still not getting my favorite team notifications! This is ridiculous! I only get notifications when they want to work. Also, I don't like clicking on a game & being sent to the scoreboard instead of the game I clicked on! Will you please fix these problems so I can get my notifications & see my games! I HATE not knowing how my teams are doing! Until it is fixed I won't give you more than a 2 star!

Complaints about slow loading are from people with a poor device or poor internet. My tablet is nearly 2 years old and I have very basic WiFi and have never had any problems with load times. It does have the occasional crash but it's pretty rare. Overall great app a must have for any sports fan

The app is fine for scores. It also give notifications for video or news to read based on your interests. However, I can never follow the notification to get to the video or news. Clicking it gives me a white screen. Then I try to go back and reload but going back takes me to the main screen of the app and then the notification is gone. So that's frustrating.

Still piss poor. Laggy. For NBA scores it's terrible. And I'm using a top end smartphone as well. Doesn't feel optimized at all. Still nothing had changed. Poor form ESPN. Also, yesterday , scores for the NBA stopped updating for 30 minutes. Even on my PC. Terrible. App needs to feel much smoother and play by play and boxscore need to update much quicker . Miss the old gamecast

This new version of ESPN gives all sorts of rubbish news like US basketball or India cricket. Really crap. Whereas the "old" ESPN FC gives only soccer news that i wanted to read. Give us an option to eliminate all those other news n scores

When I am watching a game through the app I would prefer not to be given a score update of that game. Tonight I was waiting Wisconsin Iowa and with 10 seconds left in the game video an alert came across the screen saying Iowa won the game right before they made the game winning shot. Fix that.

The app use to be great. The latest update ruined it. Crashes all the time, Articles don't load. Why ESPN are you trying to be something you're not? I want to read about sports. Men don't care about pretty pictures with their articles. CUT THE CRAP MAKE A DECENT APP AND LEAVE IT ALONE. Even months later this app still sucks. Hire new programmers and try again because you ladies and gentlemen have failed. This app sucks more than the Browns.

This is a good app overall, but this week the push alerts have become disconnected with the page. I click and get a blank page. Suspect this may relate to a recent app update. This has been a problem before and it's now reoccurring. Please fix. Second, I have a Galaxy S7 Edge and the app tends to drain the battery in the background. I'll notice my battery is getting low when I haven't been using the phone intensely and see this app is using 50-70% of the battery.

Since the last update there is nothing to view at all. It has gotten worse everyday and now I cannot open any content on the app at all. Everything is blank. Please fix soon so I can keep up with my favorite sports and teams especially this time of year while I am at work. Thank you

ESPN forced me off the FC app to this where it forces non football news down my throat. I don't want to know the cricket score or what leander paes wants to say. Also the app keeps crashing and looks gawky. Keep it up guys and very soon you'd have lost all credibility in football. Your website too manages to consistently worse day by day.

I love the app, it let's me see my team's score and other game scores I might be interested in. One thing I would like to see them add is volleyball. It may not be the most popular sport, but I think I'd be a good addition to their choices

Score/wickets alerts have stopped after the last update . That was a killer feature, sadly now history. Please bring it back/update the alp/backend. But, b4 you put out the update, test test test!!! Hope you good guys are getting the drift.

This has always been the absolute best app for sports info and current breaking news, scores, and highlights. I've had this app for atleast two or three years and have never had any major problems... until recently. This past week is when it started. Literally every single video or news notification crashes the app when I click to try and view it. Hopefully it is fixed soon and my review will again be fives stars. But the notifications are my favorite part and until then it will remain three stars. I have an HTC One M9

The articles keep crashing out and going to a black screen. Then the app crashes and its always on just the articles I want to read very frustrating. Other than that this app is my life I'm on it constantly.

What used to be a great app is now a crappy one filled with over abbreviated highlights, subpar commentators, more commercials than content, more crashes, and a bias towards one or two teams per sport. If you're a cavs fan, this app is great for you. Oh, screw the cavs.

Wow thanks for porting this iOS app to Android and keeping it's iOS design. It's not like Android has it's own design language or anything. Slow, buggy, and unusable in 2017. Yahoo sports here I come..

Having trouble opening notifications. If I touch a notification for a video the video plays promptly. If I open an article, however, the page is blank and never loads any content. Disappointed as I'm losing out on articles I would enjoy that I wouldn't normally find on my own.

The latest update has introduced tons of bugs whereas before I had no issues. When I click on notifications, it takes me to the ESPN website in the app, not the page in the app itself. For example, instead of going to the app's gamecast it will go to the website's gamecast. So I'll have to hit the back arrow and go find the gamecast on the app myself. Additionally, it no longer automatically shows the next or current game on the scores tab, it starts at some random point and I have to go scroll to the game I want myself.

Everytime I get the ESPN update I go to hit share so I can open it up a date read the story it's always blank. So I have no clue what the story is about. I am glad I have Bleacher Report I have no issues.

Turn the alerts off... They get annoying extremely fast. Takes forever to load anything, navigating the video content is a nightmare and COLLEGE HOCKEY IS A THING. NCAA is more than basketball and football.

Why show cricket and other news on the home page when I have added soccer as favourite. It makes it difficult to track news of my favorite team/sport directly through home page (which was very simple through soccernet app)

If you're going to stop supporting the ESPN FC app, then allow us to block content in this ESPN app that we don't want to see. I appreciate that I can favorite things, but I want to be able to completely block things I don't want to see. Otherwise all I feel like I see is TONS of NFL stories don't care about and it's too hard to find the soccer stories. I would actually rather use this ESPN app if I could just block things. I like getting my NBA and soccer fix on the same place, but in a country that is NFL obsessed, I see way too many of these stories I don't want.

Good for scores.... but absolute crap for trying to watch highlights. Video playback on this app has always been atrocious and has only become worse the last few updates. I just have to assume at this point that they will never get it working properly.

The 'upgrade' from ESPN FC was a compete failure, it's now harder to find the games I want to see as it relates to football, even my favorites don't show up and I have to look for it. I'll gladly give 5 star if a ESPN FC like option was implemented for those who just want football

I was using the Espnfc app ,now that it's not supported anymore I've been forced to download this version...Which is absolutely appalling in comparison to the now obsolete FC app. Bulky and just all over the place .. The Simplicity of the Espnfc app was what made it work for me.this one though . The layout is messier than a poorly maintained junkyard.it only gets 1 star because I can't go any lower. UNINSTALLED

Will rate better once I stop having 0033 error. All of my other channels work fine when I sign in to my DirecTV account, but this is the only TV app I have a problem with on random occasions and it keeps me out for long periods of time. Needs fix.

I used to really like this app. I'm not a fan of the setup and the stories in the news feed seam to stay there for several weeks. Crashes every once and a while too. It's good but it's been better.

When the app is working it's great, however it doesn't often work well for me. More times then not I don't get any updates on my samsung galaxy s7. In order to get the notification on my phone again I have to uninstall and install again. This may work for a couple of weeks and then I suddenly just stop getting alerts. I really don't understand why this happens and it's extremely frustrating when I want to stay up to date with my favorite teams. If this was fixed then I'd give this app 5 stars but right now die to the inconvienences it causes me I can only give it 2 stars.

The update that only gives you 5 to 7 of the days top stories ruined this app. I used to have a Customized news feed of all my favorite teams and sports. Not any more. The "News" feature is garbage until a new update fixes this last one.

NCAA baseball is pretty much left out, all the news is east coast. The #1 ranked team and 3 other top 25 teams are on the west coast. East coast bias????

Related the app 4 stars.. its a great app. But after the updates I hate how that old news will be at the top of my feed while I have to scroll forever to find newer stuff..

okay for news and watching on occasion when there's no alternative for a high priority game. But because of excessive, intrusive ads, I get sports news from other apps and sites. Keep alerts to a minimum and be prepared for a deluge of blinking ads taking up more space than the videos. If you click an alert, first you get ads, then it doesn't take you to the alert you clicked, you have to hunt, getting another ad each time you click something new. It's not live; you pick up game action after the ads. Finally, why no chromecast?

The only reason I still have this app is because I can't find many apps that have the wide variety of sports... Live scoring is poor and a lot of the time wrong

It's nice that everything is rolled into one - radio, TV, and news - but it would be nice if it interfaced with Google. I want to wake up in the morning and say "OK Google play espn radio"

Not good for college sports...hockey, lacrosse. Used to be able to have men's lacrosse as a favorite. Mentioned it to y'all before and got some generic message back. WWE over college lacrosse and hockey. Come on man!

App is great for sports news. Always up to date and they're quick to fix their mistakes. If there was a dark mode for the app, I would give it 5 stars

Touch sensitivity not working correctly. Was my favorite sports app, rethinking it now. Needs fixing. Slow loading, horrible. Getting worse, uninstall!
