ESPN Fantasy Sports

This is a terrible app. It does not work on iPad. You cannot view all stats for standard 9 cat when you are looking up a player. Every aspect of the UI could be improved. And worst of all: the constant ads for ESPN programming that cannot be closed. I wish ESPN would focus more on the quality of it's products.

App works pretty decent for me (not perfect- but good). My major wish is that they would update the Basketball player positions. For example: James Harden is just listed as SG, but he also plays PG alot. The same for Ben Simmons-listed as PF but plays alot of PG. Please update positions!

This app never stops having bugs. Always freezing up or not opening. This would be the best fantasy app around if it worked all the time instead of sometimes. I really dislike yahoo or any other fantasy app layout. But I will continue to use other apps because atleast they work when I need to use them.

Inferior to most other major apps. Looks nice, but has much less information. Stop trying to kick me off of the website and to the app if all of the options, statistics and features aren't on the app. Crashing again despite no visible improvement in the product.

I like that you can do all the things needed for all your fantasy teams. Takes a but to figure it out, but then I'm not tech savvy like most folks. I like that it comes up on Streak, that is a lot of fun. My best Streak so far is 15. 24-4 is my best record so far. Try and beat it, c'mon.

Nothing but ads being pushed to notifications about fantasy sports, most of which are for sports that I'm not even a part of. I don't care what your "experts" or who they recommend I draft/start. It has no place being so damn intrusive in a mobile app.

We have used this app for the last 3 years of our fantasy league. When it works its great which is about half the time. It is buggy and the video playback is horrible. It takes forever to load a video and will buffer constantly. Its pretty annoying when it takes 5min to watch a 45sec video.

I have to reload the app probably 4x a day. I use it nearly exclusively for the streak feature, and practically every other time when I say all match ups it takes me to fantasy football. I don't know if this is intentional or simply a bug, but either way I despise it every time it happens. When it's not buggy, it's a good app. But that's not very often.

It's 2018 and I can't believe the designers of this APP haven't listened to its users. The OLD up till 2016version was a MILLION times better to play SFC. All you need is one application with its own SFC widget not 10 others associated with it. Bring back the old version and you'll see people constantly playing again. Terrible! Ruined Streak for the Cash! Needs a widget for the Streak for Cash back.. Bring Widget back for the Streak for the Cash! I always forget to do my picks with this new version. I had 50 picks a month with the widget on my phone screen. With this new app version I'm lucky to remember to pick 1 a week....more stars when a Widget is made.

Haven't used other fantasy apps before so I have no idea how this one compares. However, I don't even go online to do anything fantasy related. This app is easy to use and covers anything and everything I need for my fantasy sports.

Garbage, year after year. Live fantasy stats lag well behind live game stats in the same app! Takes shutdown and restart to update. Should include ability to force-refresh in the app. Disappointing.

I use too like this app,but I just lost all my teams,and all my data! Tried to contact espn,but can't get any answers,pass this app by and try something else not worth the time!

If you do not remove the ads that automatically play when I try to check my fantasycast we will never use ESPN again for any fantasy league. This is ridiculous, making us watch a full 30 or 60 second ad to simply check my score. You already put ads on every screen blocking 1/4 of the screen. Remove the video ads on fantasycast immediately

Easy to use. Need to get rid of the fantasy sports I don't play. Have to click 2-3 times to get a response from the buttons. Freezes every time I reopen the app and gets stuck reloading live scores. 3 stars until that gets fixed.

OK when it doesn't freeze. Also, sound notifications are sent to my phone for Fantasy Basketball, which is annoying, especially since I don't participate in Fantasy Basketball and all my other notifications are turned off. I contacted ESPN for a fix and I was told to delete the app, clear the cache, and reload the app to fix. Didn't work and I still get the updates loud and clear with no way to stop them other than delete the app, which I will do once the fantasy football season is over.

The app is slow and unresponsive too many times. Logging out takes forever, sometimes never working. I have uninstalled and reinstalled many times and nothing changes. I use a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge with Marshmallow.

This app is slow and clunky, it is mostly a bunch of shortcuts to online fantasy games on ESPN, and a few within the app. The few in the app don't work as well as the others that had their own app (streak). Streak never updates live, always have to close and reload to get updates since there is no refresh. The streak app was bullet proof, this implementation is garbage, it should be undone. I have basically stopped playing streak because of this bad alignment of applications.

When it works it's great, when is the keyword. 70% of the time this app fails to load for network failure??? Fix it its been happening for three years on three separate phone. Only way to resolve is to uninstall and reinstall app

Used to work great until about a month ago, can't open it since. Now message says 'app may not be optimized for your device." Update on 11/21 didn't help, still can't open app. What gives?

Super clunky. Sometimes just doesn't load information and stats. Ads everywhere, not to mention them slamming their other apps down your throat

This app freezes a lot. A lot. Especially when refreshing stats. Connected to WiFi even. I like the interface however I wish I could reorder teams. I can make a team disappear but can't reorder. Overall, the app is mediocre but allows me to interface with ESPN fantasy football.

Does not work 90% of the time! I use this app for one of my fantasy leagues and it won't load. I've uninstalled and reinstalled a dozen times this season on my phone and tablet with no luck. Same issue with the rest of my 16 member league. Go with CBS Fantasy, NEVER acts up.

Is a good app, but other than what other people had stated. Why there is not player profile pictures on "my team"? When I switch from GS7 to Note 8 I was seeing the pictures, but after a few updates they went away.

App freezes and stops responding a lot. Looking up stats is a pain, watching live scores and they only give you like 5 of your 9 cats on the scoreboard. Biggest issue: scrolling fluidly. Swiping left and right to looks at your team's stats, forget about it. It hesitates then shoots you to the end where PTS are, swipe slightly left shoots u way over to FG %. Overall trash.

Horrible layout. Clunky display, have to scroll to see stats and very difficult to see games used when setting lineup. Old app was 1000 times better.

Good and bad. The constant notifications and updates get annoying fast. With every update they change the menus slightly so you have to figure out where everything is again. Still better than doing fantasy football by hand though.

Absolutely horrible. The layoffs at ESPN are noticeable given how many issues this app has now. It's always been a bottom of the barrel app, but this year is the worst. Always crashing, not opening, horrible design, doesn't show pertinent information like Yahoo. It's time to commit some money to a complete overhaul.

Horrible FFL app. Crashes often, if you're lucky enough to get it to start at all. Lineups may or may not save, making every Tuesday (app will not work Saturday, Sunday, or Monday.) a surprise to see what players on your team were fielded.

The app is a great app. Setting lineups is easy and I don't have issues with the actual app. The three star rating is due to the constant notifications this app throws. I don't want an app bugging me multiple times a day. It's like a small child that doesn't get enough attention.

Piss-poor execution from a major media outlet. Consistently freezes up or lags, try to get player information or edit your lineup and it acts like you never pressed anything. You'll get a bunch of notifications a day that you can't read the entire headline, so you tap on it to go directly to that info only to go to the generic homepage, never to be sure what it was it meant to show you. Unacceptable.

In a nutshell, it's good to have an app to manage fantasy teams but it's too bad ESPN gives us a total garbage app to do so. I find it very difficult to believe the average is 4 stars. Especially since I had to go back a month to find the first 4 star. App needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled on a monthly basis. I get push notifications for anything fantasy related and more but all I want is NBA. Actually managing using the app is asking for trouble and disappointment. I give it 1 star because I can occasionally see my matchup score. Everything else is useless and clunky. What's most disappointing is that it wouldn't take much to make it a useful app but it's apparent that's low priority for espn

Unresponsive at times, the previous and player name buttons often don't work. Unreliable connection when using this daily. Otherwise, a good app for checking on my teams on the go.

It worked fine at first, a couple months ago if I went to players screen, I'd have to restart because of freeze after submitting a waiver. Now for whatever reason the app crashes within 10 secs of opening. We're in playoffs and it's very frustrating changing you line in 10 seconds.

Locks up pretty consistently when ads load onto a page, won't allow scrolling or interfacing without constantly closing and restarting, and on random networks, won't respond at all. This morning it wouldn't let me even see one of my teams in the selection menu. Sad, I've used this app for years, but it's too buggy to be usable

A month left until people draft for fantasy baseball yet mocks still are not open. Basketball player updates are old unless the player is a star. Will have a player injured yet not send an update because the outlook did not change.

One would think that ESPN would spend a little bit of money to make a app that works smooth. Getting frustrated buy tapping the person I want to move 3 times brfore it actuality registers that I tapped it. Scrolling through the players stats is damn near impossible. Again thats due to me swipping 9 times before it does. Would also be nice if the app would rotate to see the rest of the stats instead of swipping. I might rate this a 5 star but I'm sure they will never address and fix these issues like every other devloper out there. All of my other apps work fine but this one. I wont hold my breath till you guys even respond to this.

The app is good but the push notifications are too much. You can't turn off the spammy BS notifications while leaving on player injury notifications (which are critical), and ESPN is super aggressive about the spam. I'd give this app a 5 if not for the sheer amount of spam this app throws at you.

All was good however, they should implement some type of reward if you win your league. I won but all that happened was the football teams shut out and it said it was the end of the season. Maybe give tokens or something on our profiles. Just to make it a little more satisfying when winning.

It's a good app. I have had issues with loading on multiple devices. It gets to the login/sign up screen and then crashes, giving the "Unfortunately, ESPN Fantasy has stopped" message. If this were fixed, I would rate higher. On one device I did manage to get in eventually, though I'm not sure how. The interface is very good and easy to use.

App seems good, but needs to be fixed for the streak. The times are not correct. Keeps showing me UTC times and I am Eastern Timezone. Just factory rest my phone and redownloaded the app and still shows UTC timezone, need it to be EST timezone. Would be better if it showed me the right times.
