This is a really great app for the most part. My only complaint is that when I close and reopen the app it forgets which words I've already seen and which categories I have selected. Which isn't completely terrible since it makes me revisit old words occasionally. But it can still be frustrating.

Dankon por grupigi la vortojn en kategoriojn!

Useful for the first couple hundred words, not so much for suffixes & affixes, because provided no context of meaning.

S70%
by S####:

Many words, but they don't have the actual pronunciation. There is a forward button but no back button. All you do is look at the words and tru to memorize them. Not effective.

Useful free app. Basically like flashcards, the shuffle option stops you learning by place rather than meaning. Dankon!

S70%
by S####:

I like the overall concept. As others have pointed out though, it seriously needs some kind of bookmarking or chaptering to return where you left off or otherwise navigate to individual lists. I'd also like a back button to return to previous exercises during study, and an option to choose which language to start from (Eng/Esp/Random). In the future, perhaps a random quiz feature could be added, or even a full spaced repetition system of some kind.

I realy need to improve my Esperanto

In the past, I could go through the list, flipping each word to English, shuffle, and then go through them again from that side. But now every time I hit shuffle, all the words are reset back to Esperanto; they won't stay in English. Having the ability to shuffle the English words again would be very nice. Remembering cleared categories and the ability to clear individual categories instead of all of them would be nice.

I love this program for what it is: a no-mess system of flashcards. I have learned MANY new words thanks to it. On the flip side, I would also add that I already had a decent grasp on the alphabet, pronunciations, and verb tenses thanks to la Kurso de Esperanto, and this app would've benefited me less had I not. Not for first timers, but certainly a great vocab builder!.... (Could DEFINITELY use audio assistance and bookmarks! :)

I think this app has a lot of potential, but it's of limited usefulness because of a few things. Each page of words _always_ has the same seven words. That by itself wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the second issue: every time I open the app I'm back at page 1 and have to keep hitting Next until I reach new words. I do like this app, but I think I'll be better served by finding a good Anki deck.

M70%
by M####:

Cool app, but it doesn't save my choice of categories, and always starts with the same words whenever I open the app. Settings need a lot of work - barely customizable.

Not the most effective way to learn I think, but it's ok.

Great app. Please consider audio, resume/bookmark and add category on page eg not sure what are root words.

Not sure if this is unique to ICS, but this app crashes one screen before I reach the end of a list.

Tre bona! It'd be better if you could mark words you already know so they don't show up again, and a next button would be handy - but nice little app!

Would be better if able to move to an SD card

How about a way to save words as favorites to study later? tre bonan.

This is definately a goid app for getting down the basics, but some things I think it's missing some aspects that could make it more user friendly

whenever i open/close the app, slide my keyboard in/out, or turn the screen on/off, it skips to the next set of words. Motorola Droid 2.3.3 CM7

Does what it's intended, I have learned a ton of new words this way. Any possible way you could possibly make this style app for Spanish? I would appreciate it so much because this style works so well for me.
