QAZ Compact Keyboard

It allows you to type using a reduced region of the screen. It is ideal for devices with small screen size or for LANDSCAPE mode.

QAZ keyboard requires LESS EFFORT to type as it uses 1/3rd of the keys of a typical keyboard so there are less keys to target. It uses advanced prediction to figure-out what you meant. QAZ keyboard uses the familiar Qwerty layout so that your finger memory is reused. It virtually takes no time to start typing as fast as you are used to but with 1/3 of the keys. Once you get used to this mode of typing, you'll never want to type on a full keyboard again

QAZ is a small keyboard but only due to its reduced number of keys. Keys are still usual size for convenience, in landscape mode QAZ features large keys.

QAZ features a 'talk back' feature that when enabled, reads out loud what you type as you type it allowing you to catch mistakes early on.

QAZ keyboard also provides convenience keys to switch back and forth to a full layout when is convenient to do so. This could be when typing URL's, passwords, e-mail addresses etc.


INSTALLATION


To enable QAZ Keyboard follow the instructions on the setup app.


DICTIONARY SUPPORT


Currently QAZ keyboard provides dictionary support for:

- English
- Spanish

More dictionaries will be added with priorities assigned as per customer requests. QAZ keyboard requests permission to read your contacts so it can learn them and predict them properly when typing.


SECURITY


Some people don't trust 3rd party keyboards other than the system keyboard as they are afraid somebody may snoop their passwords. QAZ Keyboard DOES NOT REQUEST (and will never do in any future release) INTERNET CONNECTION PERMISSION during installation. Notice that there is a standard warning issued by android OS when selecting a keyboard other than the one provided in your phone or tablet. It is a standard warning and it has nothing to do with this particular application, it is issued for any 3rd party keyboard
