ecar connect for Android
The app loads all the charger location data from the net every time it loads. This can make it slow to start and if you happen to be somewhere with no coverage at all you're stuffed. Why not store the charger locations for offline use? They don't change that often.
One of the worse apps known to man. Takes too long to load and if you do get it to load, you can't believe the results. This app is irished
Knowing that the future is gonna be electric cars, I cannot believe this app is so out of date, slow and... not showing anything on my phone, the map has no pins.
Following update to Vodafone phone this app no longer works and won't load. Prior to phone update it was a very useful app.
Unreliable
Rubbish
Good app on iPhone but doesnt load the map on Android. Please fix this as it has great potential.
Slow and clunky. (Why does an esb app open on a global map?) It points out the car stations which plenty of third party apps do better. I recommend plugshare. The one thing this app has going for it is telling if a port is in use or out of service..... and that part is broken/unreliable/not live. Its no wonder there are ports out of service for weeks at a time if this is the level of competence we can expect from the national provider of charging stations. On top of that the app has ceased to load now. Please try harder... a transition year student could code you a better app for a fraction of the cost.
Why can't I plan routes using this app exclusively?
Very handy app to have
Downloaded to my Samsung android device but no joy...maps don't work. Get it together ESB or delete the App,
App just pops up code: gap:["Device","getDeviceInfo","Device0",true] gap:["Network Status","getConnectionInfo","Network Status1",true]
This is a great app for EV drivers in Ireland, giving pertinent useful information with a simple rapid charge filter.
Fantastic app for seeing charger type and power and whether it's working or not.
Very handy app to have

Handy app. Like the fact that it also includes recent news from ESB ecars.
Thank you.
Really handy

Really handy, easy to use.
Works great since the update!!
It is working really well since the update. Delighted with it!
It'd be great to have Google maps integration for directions
Please fix it
I would count the map as the most important element and its not working at all. It displays what I presume is an error code as noted by other users here: gap:["Device","getDeviceInfo","Device0",true] gap:["Network Status","getConnectionInfo","Network Status1",true] This doesn't inspire confidence in the eCars program I'm afraid
As noted by others ("gap errors"), this just fails on startup - then goes into a loop and chews up my battery! Failing on Samsung Note 3 on 4.4.2.
ESB lets update this! - as a SW dev, I'd be embarrassed if this was my app
App just pops up code: gap:["Device","getDeviceInfo","Device0",true] gap:["Network Status","getConnectionInfo","Network Status1",true]
Not working on Samsung S3. C'mon ESB sort this out. Disgraceful that this is not fixed by now.
Not working also when it did work there was no option to switch off hotels, bed and breafasts and chargers in railway park and rides Still not working as 1112014 still not working as of 1122014
I don't know why this app has such low rating. It is working fine. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5, is because the app doesn't report the distance to the selected charging station. (Using Google maps this functionality will be easy to implement.)
Not working since last android update... No answer from esb.. uninstalled the app...
This app just gives an error about get device info then does nothing. It completely useless on Samsung s4 with 4.4
Same popups as others reported then crashes

Once phone is plugged in, Android Auto kicks in and takes over the phone (making this app inaccessible once sitting in car). Can you please make this app compatible with Android Auto & Google maps.
