News is not getting loaded. It was 2 days before. This problem was there before also. Problem repeating again and again

Was EXCELLENT at first, then came the ads, why does it randomly switch from the article to an ad? I uninstalled and reinstalled..Same, good for a few days and then BAM reading an article then the screen goes to a link for an ad. Sad, but I guess I will have to uninstall permanently...

I like the idea behind the app. But unfortunately Germany isn't working in contrast to the other countries. Pity... will rate this app better when it's fixed. Thanks

No longer receiving any news from any country. I have tried to reinstall and still does not work. Has worked for years and stopped working last week! Please find the problem and fix it.

Used to work. Now, no news appear after selecting a country.

No newspapers will load? Tried reinstall and still it's all blank? Otherwise I've loved this app over the years of use.

on Galaxy S6 Edge (Android 5.1.1). There is no news, just empty app. Choosing country doesn't make it work. Uninstalling.

App has stopped working again. Begins to load news, then the screen goes blank. After an unistall and install it now loads news for every country except Germany.

I cannot see any news for Germany, the screen stays blank. For all other countries the news shows up. Please do fix this problem. Thanks.

Does not load. Used this app for 3 years and it just gets worse. New news comes slowly and now it the article does not load at all

Can't read any news despite after downloading.., I'm a regular news reader..., it's very annoying that app can be downloaded, but can't read the news..

Just installed it on S6 for the first time and only the german version isn't working, rest are all working fine.

You need to fix this app. It has completely stopped working. It was a great source for news before it quit working.

No longer works. Just blank page. And now I see from other reviews that this app no longer works for anyone. Fix or remove I suggest.Yes now fixed and looking good. Clear and easy to read. Improved.

Although this app is working again I can't get any German news. Is there a reason for this?

Worked well for ages, but for some reason it's stopped working. Page loads but I cannot see any text. Uninatalled and re installed still not working. Is it my S6 or is anyone else having the same problem SO NOW IT'S BEEN DISCONTINUED THANKS FOR THAT.

Apart from the banner across the top there is just blank space on a nexus 7. Nothing else. - as of Dec 2016 it's fixed. Thank you

Glad this exists, but it's fairly primitive by today's standards. Page keeps resetting as the adverts load, making fast scrolling of articles frustrating. Lacks the ability to share articles!

Worked well for years (Swiss, French and German editions) if somewhat basic UI gave good local news coverage in English. Shame the app stopped loading the news a few weeks ago. Back working, so an extra star. Update Jan 2017, not working again, app starts but won't load news articles.

The app was fixed recently and it was great to have the Local back again but now same thing has happened. Blank screen and no content.

Good app with a single purpose that it fills perfectly. In addition the developer opted out of having a long list of unnecessary privileges, for which I have to thank him. We need more devs like that.

Except for the bad UI,it's a decent app. I liked, "thelocalnews-Europe" more than this. It had a better Ui and also gets news from multiple feeds.

Makes keeping up with events in Germany so easy.

iOS app is a more eye pleasing template. Otherwise it's a concise app with great content.

It doesn't feels like an app, it's like loading the webpage in a different view.

Does the job. Great little app for a great site.

Would've liked the app if I was able to select a different country in settings. Only allows first country in list to be selected. Selecting something different results in the app crashing. Something is broken in country settings. Uninstall.
