About Dividend Tracker

Dividend Tracker app allows you to create multiple lists of stocks and view their dividend payment history. You can view a stock's prospective yield based on the dividend payment history and sort your stock list by name or yield.
The app allows you to enter a number of shares owned for each stock and view annual dividends and upcoming dividend payments.
The detail screen allows you to add a note for each symbol.
To remove a stock from your list do a long click on a stock symbol in the list.
You can delete stock categories if they are empty. Go to Settings-> Manage Categories and do a long click on a category name to bring up a category delete dialog. A simple click will display a Category Rename dialog.
Dividend Tracker can display an average dividend yield in each stock category. Go to Settings to turn this feature on.
The app displays 3-month, 6-month, 1-year and 5-year charts with the 50-day EMA.
You can view the 200-day EMA and create your own custom EMA.
You can also view the RSI and MACD.

The stock detail screen shows 5 year average dividend, 3 and 10-year dividend growth. The 10-year dividend growth option needs to be turned on in the Settings screen. This option also allows you to see 10 year dividend history.

A dividend pay date notification is available. It can be configured to provide a 1 to 5 day advance notice.

A stock return calculator is available through the options menu. By default it calculates a 5-year stock return with dividend reinvestment but you can select a longer or a shorter period. You can add your own number of shares. If you don't, the default amount of $10,000 will be used.
The latest version allows you to select your country in the settings which will filter search results by that country or countries. If you clear all the check boxes no filter is applied.

You can use the app both in portrait and landscape mode.
The app uses stock symbols and financial data from the Yahoo Finance.
No login is required.

If you have multiple devices, you can transfer your stock list from one device to another. Go to Settings -> Import/Export Your Stock List. Use the Export button first to save the stock list on your device or Google Drive, and then use the Import button to transfer the stock list to another device.

P.S. Lately the Yahoo has not been providing up-to-date dividend pay data. If you are experiencing any problems you need to go to the detail page for each individual stock and wait for a few seconds until you see the latest dividend date on the screen. Once you do that the dividend calendar should display the proper dates.
The Canadian stocks experienced similar problems with dividend amount. The same solution applies.

Quick way to track dividend pay dates, just what I was looking for. My only complaint is that for my ETF ZLB it doesn't show, it says N/A

S70%

I had a full list of stocks that i own. I opened it after a few days and the list was gone! What happened to my list that i had painstakingly compiled? Fail..

Enjoy reading the info. It tells me exactly what I want out of my stocks. Div dates, yields, years of performance. Once in a while it just stops for no reason. Besides that it is a great app

S70%
by S####:

One day it updates next day it won't update to the market. Very unreliable.

Great, simple stock management app

S70%

Very helpful

T70%
by T####:

Can't handle monthly dividends - all of the next dividend dates for monthly dividend stocks are wrong. It cant seem to handle monthly dividend payers and that is primarily what I own.

S70%
by S####:

very simple design, easy to find info that I need...only minor issues. overall very good. if I could give 4.5 I would

S70%
by S####:

Good info and GUI. Some issues with fictional info such as MNT.TO. It pays no dividend.

S70%
by S####:

Since the ex dividend dates and pay dates are sometimes incorrect, the app should allow for these features to be altered by the user.

H70%
by H####:

Inacurate data for some canadian stock. Ex: CM.TO shows dividend of 3.79 when real figure is 4.94.

S70%

Nice to see a easy great information tool.I use it all the time.

S70%
by S####:

All the Eaton Vance stocks seemed to be missing their dividend history, but when I told them about the problem, they fixed it in the next update! Good job team!

S70%
by S####:

Shows 0 division and 0 yield on multiple holdings like ppr pmx jfr and pgp, which are ones that have paid me large % dividends over many years

S70%
by S####:

Nothing else gives this kind of info in such a clear and efficient way

S70%
by S####:

Easy to read and track, better than spreadsheets

S70%
by S####:

App assumes you own the stock the entire year even if you just bought them. Is only showing past dividend dates too.

B70%
by B####:

The very best for keeping an eye on your holdings.

V70%

Important Send This Of Could

S70%
by S####:

Missed out to buy before the exdividend because this apps didnt update the exdividend date for some of the stocks.

S70%
by S####:

Why call it dividend tracker when yield is always 0 on all listed stocks? Am I missing something?

S70%
by S####:

This app helps me track my dividends quickly and easily when im on the go - i prefer to use it more than any other i have tried (which is every one of them) the add a stock is quick but could be a littl more efficient with button locations but other than that its great - please keep this app free as its the best one out there !!! After using this app for a while I have a suggestion .... a tabs bar for my categories would make it complete that way i can follow lists without my totals being all lumped togethe

W70%
by W####:

I just installed the app and set up categories and then added dividend stocks I am following. That process was pretty easy although had to add 1 stock at a time. I can think of at least 1 way to add multiple stock symbols at one time. Besides the multiple entry issue, it would be great if they had some type of alert system to notify you when dividend was announced so u could then see if any changes to the dividend. So far, it looks like a great program.

S70%
by S####:

Wish they offered a paid version!

S70%
by S####:

Nice to track dividend pay dates. It would be nice if it showed past monthly portfolio dividend receipts; ie last 12 months.

U70%
by U####:

Amazing amount of dividend-related information. When markets are rocky, it's a great app to check out dividend stability . Thank you.

X70%
by X####:

Especially like the dividend pay date and filtering for each month

S70%
by S####:

There is a problem with LSE stocks - London stocks are quoted in pence but this app assumes they are quoted in GBP. Thus it shows my holding / dividends to be worth millions!!!! --- Ordinarily in the UK we would enter average costs in pence. However I don't think it would matter either way as it's a simple matter to move the decimal point.

A70%
by A####:

Hands down the best dividend tracker app out there. Just plug in the stocks you want to track and it gives you the info in easy to read tables. No fluff.

S70%
by S####:

It's still okay the app use to tell you a symbol has been entered when you try to enter the same symbol.

S70%
by S####:

Good stuff, but too long between price updates

S70%
by S####:

Great app for a comprehensive quick glance at any stock

S70%
by S####:

Hard to find applications to keep track of dividend income by stock and timing. This does a good job. Can take some time to input shares and acquisition cost. Would love if I could import from TD Ameritrade and would like to share data across more than one device.

I had many stocks listed & now they appear to be all gone. . I tried deleting a category that appears to be empty now and says I can't because there are stocks in the category. . But nothing shows up now? Any thoughts?

Z70%

Take me a day or two to figure everything out with the help of Erik, now it's a very useful tool when I look at things I have or things I may want to acquire. And the more I use it the more useful it is as I discover all the information that this app contains
