Simple app to show the power draw from the battery of your device.
Tested on Nexus 5X and Google Play Edition devices. This is reading and displaying the raw values. There is no manipulation or calculation going on. Temperature is in 0.125 degree C units, for Nexus devices at least. In a future version, I may display units for some items.
This app also shows information about USB C to A cable compliance (works with latest Nexus phones).
For the Nexus 5X, look at the "fusb301/*/fclientnow" value. If this is a C to A cable and the value is 3000, it is NOT compliant to the USB specs. A value of 0, 500, or 1500 is OK.
For the Nexus 6P, look at the "typec_device/current_detect" value. If this is a C to A cable and the value is 2, the cable is NOT compliant to the USB specs.

would still pick this App for battery stats over other similar apps even though it reports my phone as charging at 1mA. All similar Apps report the same so if the dev could fix this i would give all 5 stars.

Readings were not consistent over multiple tests on various chargers with different voltages and amperage. At least this one doesn't have annoying ads. Still not reliable, tested on external battery charger and wall chargers.

As soon as I installed it on my Nexus 5X, it says the Average Current is -9223372036854775 mA and it makes me feel like an omnipotent destroyer of energy

So far the only current monitor I have found that actually differentiates between positive (using) and negative (charging) amperages.

It's a shows the charging discharging current temp and other stuff. The missing feature is measurement when the screen is off. Please add basic last 2 mins log when screen is off.then will give it 5*
