Erasmus MC Sophia Babywatch

Uw kind is opgenomen op de afdeling IC Neonatologie van het ErasmusMC-Sophia. U bent mogelijk niet in de gelegenheid om 24 uur per dag bij uw kind te zijn. Om uw kind te kunnen zien, bieden wij u de mogelijkheid om gebruik te maken van Babywatch.

Door middel van Babywatch is het mogelijk om via een computer, tablet of smartphone met internetverbinding naar uw kind te kijken met een camera die boven de couveuse of het (warmte)bed van uw kind hangt. De beelden worden via internet verstuurd.
De beelden zijn zonder geluid om de privacy van andere patiënten en de medewerkers van de afdeling te waarborgen.

Het biedt echter wel de mogelijkheid om uw kind te zien op de momenten dat u daar behoefte aan heeft of wanneer u, om wat voor reden dan ook, niet naar de afdeling kunt komen. Daarnaast biedt het de mogelijkheid voor uw familie en vrienden om een virtueel bezoek te brengen. Your child is included in the section IC Neonatology of the Erasmus MC-Sophia. You might not have the opportunity to be open 24 hours a day with your child. To see your child, we offer you the possibility to use Baby Watch.

Through Baby Watch is possible to look through a computer, tablet or smartphone with Internet access to your child with a camera hanging above the incubator or the (heat) your child's bed. The images are sent over the Internet.
The images are without sound to protect the privacy of other patients and staff of the department.

However, it does offer the opportunity to see your child at times when you need thereof or when, for whatever reason, can not come to the department. It also offers the opportunity for your family and friends to a virtual visit.
