EPUB Reader for Android
Love the simplicity and the small size! But it doesnt remember the last page i read and doesnt scan well (i have 4 epubs but it only read 2 of them) so yeah. Uninstalling.
why was it so hard to find an ebook reader that didn't want network access for who knows what just to read a local epub file? whatever the reason, this (admittedly no frills) epub reader does the job. thank you developer!
Not because it's flawless. Because it does what it is supposed to do (displays epub files), it's small, FREE, and it doesn't need any unnecessary permissions. Thank you!
After searching page after page I found an epub reader without tons of ads or permissions. As for features... No permissions! No ads! Nothing more I can ask for. Thank you. Making backup apk file before update.
Am very satisfied with this app, & I had tried a lot before arriving here.
Yaaaassss finally one that works aah saved my life
Lightest and tightest ever ! Good one at its epub :)
Very very easy to use with large pictures.
This is the lightest epub reader i have ever seen
No folder view, no way to get back to the book from settings.
And I it uploads ebooks without going to the file unlike other readers
good for reading for old phones. please develop these apps for pdf
Fast and easy to use on Android 2.2. Very nice interface. Reads .txt too.
5 stars for doing just what it says and only having the needed permissions.
the most beautiful epub book formatting with no additional effort. convenient navigation. but some things are really annoying. * the most awkward things: - book is closed when rotating device or reentering app; - no way to close table of contents without reentering app or selecting heading; * some useful features missing: - open books directly from folder without scanning; - full screen support; - return button support in toc and book; - select and scroll to current heading when opening toc; - sometimes blank page between chapter, need to fix; - recent/fav books list would be fine; - link support would be fine;
Dear Michael, very good job. Lightest reader, well justified layout. Only improvement could be the removal of the constant top black bar of "Epub reader ..... Scan". If it is removed, this is a 5-star app. Thanks. Update: Please also make this full screen.
Once you're inside the book you barely feel anything is missing, but when you're done, you're face-to-face with this basic, coverless, list of books. It may be enough for some, but I need my shelf.
I love the lack of permission requests, but I hate that I have to really press the screen in order to turn pages (although my smartphone is almost brand new). Other than that, when on Auto screen flip, the app goes to Bookshelf at the slightest move.
Awesome. 261 KB size and that much good performance.

Tiny but functional, does everything I need it to do without a lot of fancy frills. Found all my ebooks on SD card no problem. To the developer... well done! PS it works fine, please don't fix it....
Tiny size, without ads, doesn't ask for crazy permissions... just does the jobs done. Read my local epub perfectly.
Not able to view content properly
simple and beautiful, suggesston: one click open from file manager, looking for more minimalist features
It isn't bloated and unlike ET won't keep trying to phone home. No ads, no bugs either. Straight to the point and gets the job done. Refreshing!
No permissions, simple, does what it says.
Great app, but please add a continuous scrolling method instead of jump to next page kind of scrolling. other than that good work.
Thank you for this likely application
Lightweight & does the job!
@MichaelVolz, this is an impressive programming feat, to have such a compact and efficient program. The only device googleplay would allow me to install this on, is a more modern tablet for which I have no use of a simple compact program, as there is memory to spare. I have two older phones, one 4.x and another 2.3, and neither is allowed to have it installed. Fix this with googleplay - I have a hunch it's more about some check-boxes that were left out than about system requirements.
New review with different phone. Didn't show books on old phone, got a different one and the reader finds all my books and shows them unlike on last phone that books were blank. Only complaints are that it seems to destroy some formatting in some books, even though they are still readable. It seems to be justification and line height that are not rendered correctly. Plus when part way through a book it always starts with the book list and not automatically on the last page you were on. Once the book is selected then it does go to the last page read.

Light. Simple. Sophisticated.
Lightest and tightest ever ! Good one at its epub :)
Useless
Even though some extra options would come in handy I still recommend it.
Junk
This is on of the best, thanks

I have been so fed up by the idiotic apps I have found for reading novels in epub..this is easy,ad free and has night mode, font settings and size settings.its one of the most awesome apps for reading documents in epub..But sadly not so popular but very commendable and brilliant!
