Kids' Music Player is a music player for kindergarten / preschool children.
Of course your kids already know how to use your smartphone or tablet, but when they're small, they cannot read CD covers or titles yet.
That's where Kids' Music Player comes into play. To get started, choose the appropriate genres from your music library (e.g. "Children's music"), and you're ready to go.
Your child chooses an album by tapping it. Cute pet icons then represent each of the tracks on the album. Tapping an icon plays the song.
You'll be amazed seeing how fast your kids learn which pet stands for which song.*
It's intuitive - and fun! For older kids, you can additionally display track numbers and your kids will start to learn the numbers along the way!

First thing is a cat asking me to touch my menu button. The newest Notes don't have one. Would love to use this but I can't get past the first screen. :( UPDATE: Got that to work by holding down the left button. But then it couldn't find my music which is clearly marked with a genre via Google Music. I want this to work. Gah!

Good simple player. Instructions on getting music discovered are poor -files must be tagged with a genre to be discovered. Doesn't pick up images from ID3 tags for tracks.

If you are having a hard time figuring out how to use this app, please try again before leaving a bad review. It does work well.

Unfortunately it doesn't appear to work on the Nvidia Shield - it can't find any music files even though other music players can. I installed the app on a tablet and it works there, UI seems suitable for children, though I wonder whether it wouldn't be better to use the available album pictures instead of random animals. I would imagine it's easier to make a connection to the content that way.

Player does not stop playing a song when you press home key. It only stops playing no matter what app you open when you reopen the kids player app or pause. Other than that its great. I was able to fix the problem using tasker to kill the app every time the launcher (home) is pressed. Using kidoz launcher.

I don't know what the other reviewers are complaining about. This works great. I selected the genre and the app automatically limited the albums.

5stars to enourage. I was going to write something like this but i need single tracks attached to icons. And some disabling of keys. 3 year old pressess back or home quick.

I can't choose which song my child can play, my phone has my music on it too, not just babysongs, it's hard to find the song. Would not pay for it!
