Bus map fails to show the latest B67 route extension into Williamsburg. Subway map fails to show new transfer at Bleeker Street.

You don't have to get up to look at map anymore. You're sitting down and u open the app. It works without internet/wifi, which is awesome for being underground.

At the start of this year I would have rated this app a 5 since i used the all the maps so frequently for my work high season. Well high season is back and i need ALL my maps and suddenly none will work but the train and Manhattan. What's up with that? Yall just went from 100 to 20. Time for a new app. Peace out.

It was a waste of time downloading this app! I still have to call nyc hotline to get MTA info

Just like another Android user mentioned...the Download Maps Now section does not reveal the names of the maps...it is all blacked out. You can only choose from the checklist in the right hand column, but you have no idea what you are downloading. Please fix ASAP or I'll be forced to delete all together and go with one of the many other functional transportation apps on the market!!

You can download only the maps you want, which is great, but zooming in and out doesn't work properly. Also, black font on a black background makes it impossible to see which bus map is which.

I am not an American Citizen but I get arround real easy thanks to this application. I do not need to wait for any ride. I just verify the tracks (bus or metro) plus a street view from Google Maps to be sure of what the area looks like and gone I am. A sensation of being free. The assurance of being able to go any where I want at any time and the ability to get arround just like a native. That is, and also feels like Power. All just by having the right information!

I used this several times in NYC this last week and have no complaint other than the map needs to magnify a bit farther to really read the fine print on it and I have normal vision. However, you still need to know both about where you are in the city and about where you need to get to for this to really be useful. If you don't already know NY, it's more helpful to have mxData's "NYC Subway" app. It asks where you are (you can look at street signs rather than try to find that same intersection on a tiny map) and then where you want to go, which pops up the station(s) you need. To be fair, NYC Bus & Subway may offer better help for busses, but I did not try/use busses at all. Also, I'd give this limited app 2.5 stars if I could but I can't really give it three stars so I've rounded down to two.

The subway map is out of date! It doesn't show any changes since 2011 (including Hudson yards, bway-lafayette/bleecker transfer). There are plenty of apps out there with an up to date map; get one of them instead.

Re-downloaded from previous version. This time, around no images visible and only option is to delete what in essence is a blank image. Un - install and a re -install did not solve the issue. A shame really, as the previous version was ok.

Good ap. However, don't know about the others but the Bklyn bus map is not current. This is a big deal considering it is the main function of this app. I took 3 buses yesterday. Found out after a 2 hour mission i could have taken the last bus somewhere else but didnt because the map did not have the current route.

I downloaded this app regardless of the company rights issues because the developer seemed dedicated. Unfortunately, it seems as a new installation, none of the maps, bus or train, will download. It's a shame. Hopefully there's a good app out there waiting for me to stumble upon. It's been a "ride" to find one. Good luck.

Maps are outdated, and you can't zoom in more than one click. I used it for years until just this week, when I got onto a bus only to find out that its route was changed THREE YEARS AGO! :-(

This app is nothing more than maps. When you try to download the details for buses or subways you get a download error. No bus schedules renders this app completely useless. #epicfail

I never write reviews but this app is awesome. I am moving to Nyc and this is so so helpful. Love that you don't have to have connection to the Internet to see the maps!! Genius idea. can't wait for the bus and train times to be integrated into the app.

The app opens wow and that's pretty much it. All I get is a black screen and even when I download the subway map it fails to load and crash the app. Deleting!

Does exactly what it says. Downloadable subway and bus maps for offline use. Aka while on the subway... :) Needs an updated map image for the subway. Also the zooming has always been a bit glitchy. But it's functional enough.

This app has served me very well for years now. Does exactly what it says n nothing more. It drives me nuts when apps get feature creep. At this point now, I'm just looking for an updated map.

I keep hoping you will update this app with the latest maps. The new bus line M12 is not on the Manhattan bus map.

Good maps and resource but, map doesn't zoom much and under the download map section it remains black on the sides. Meaning I can't see which map name I am downloading. Also needs a materiel update.

Subway map became so small I can't see anything! What happened to zoom feature? You can't zoom enough to see stations. Motorola Droid Turbo.

This simply provides maps, no schedules or anything else of consequence. Just links you to MTA website and opens browser window.. See NYC Embark for better app (subway only though). Trust me on this one, the high average rating is misleading.

Perferct way to get around nyc. I just want to report a glitch. On the download section the maps are not labeled. All I see are the checkboxes (running on galaxy s3 - jelly bean)

the embark NYC app is much better, has the fully zoom in map available offline and includes up to date service changes. this app needs WiFi and it just lists the stops for each train.

I'm actually glad this went back to the original version. It's great. And neighborhood maps are pointless when you already have Google Maps.

Nothing fancy but just what a new New Yorker needs. But it would be nice to have a in-house MTA schedule change board, the one at MTA sucks

I really like the app. Nice to be able to see maps while I'm in the subway. It does have a few problems. The Brooklyn bus map is way out of date. The B37 (3rd av. local) is running again, for example. Also, the download menu displays no map list on my LG G2, just the check boxes. Also, I can't delete maps. I do hope you haven't given up on updating this app. Thanks.

Used to think this was really cool but now it seems the map is really sensitive and at the least bit of zooming it needs to dwnld again. Doesn't have the aforementioned problem anymore but they need an update BAD. A couple of lines have changed and this app doesn't reflect those changes. Looks like neglect to me.

Subway maps are great. Wish the zooming wasn't so jerky, for lack of a better word. And when downloading maps, the files aren't labeled.

I have tried this program on various devices and the zoom works very poorly on all of them. When tring to adjust the image it keeps jumping around. I just found "New York Maps" which works much better.

It's always available when I need it. It's wonderful to not have to lean or stand over someone to see the train/bus map. And, I can always plan ahead with my handy app.

Working fine but maps need an update so many changes happened in last couple years. Overall is little simple great application. Update 11/2014. Unusable on LG G3- maps look tiny on a screen. Had to uninstall.

Too bad it's not updated. The Manhattan bus map is missing the newer M12 bus route. Otherwise great!

Doesn't work with Samsung Galaxy S 5. Download screen is black. I can't see what I'm downloading and most maps won't download. Too bad, I loved this with my S3.

Queens bus map doesn't display properly and all maps can't download fully without error message. Please fix this

Why would they revert back to the old version???? The one i lost thanks to an "update" was way better.
