Epic Haiku for Android
Apple users have several useful features that we do not. Epic needs to get this one updated. Need charge entry, viewing of images and voice recognition note dictation.
It would be great if Android version could see media like the Apple version does. Otherwise it's pretty good.
Use as an anesthesia provider. Have most of what I would like to do in app but still plenty of area to improve
I used to like the app until I started having issues loading the camera when I attempt taking images from within the app. First with the Pixel XL phone now with the Pixel 2 XL. Instead I get a message saying ' no app can perform this action' each time I try to load the Camera. Not sure how to get any technical support.
Useful for looking up patient info while rounding, but difficult to find vials and it's only the most recent set. Doesn't show a trend like the labs. Big oversight.
Horrible since last update. Can't connect to my EHR. How can it be reliable for patient care?
It's helpful for checking your schedule. You can use it to take a picture and insert it into the patient's note for that day. However, when writing a note through Haiku, you cannot dictate. You can only type. This needs to be fixed.
Crash loop.. found solution, uninstall completely then reinstall and re input server settings
Voice to text was removed, eliminating functionality while on call
Others are right, 8/18/17 update renders app unusable. Epic please fix fast!
The update will shut down the program when you try to go into any patient list. Please fix!!!
Do not update! Latest update is a crash loop on login, doesn't work at all. :(
Latest update is causing immediate shut off of app so can't use! Worked fine before.
Crashes with new update, unable to use the app, closes upon opening
It keeps crashing, can't access anything!
Crashes Everytime. Horrible update.
Well. its not working after update
DO NOT UPDATE!
I love this app, but where is Canto for Android!?! Please bring Canto to Android. Thanks
Fingerprint login disappeared. Bring it back don't understand why it disappeared
Be great if fingerprint works for Android, if that's possible
Does basic stuff. Able to view. Can get better.
Great potential, but lacks fundamentals. Latest update broke the camera functionality; no ability to view vitals. It would be awesome if results could be pushed as an alert.
... now the way to change a patient list is tacked to the top of the list, rather than the folder icon, which increases scrolling when changing. The patient studies result list still defaults to top of list if you check a result and return. Adding a patient now brings up previously reviewed patients, which is nice. It's nice to have a fingerprint sensor login now, too. Wish list: barcode reader for adding patients, nursing variant, etc.
I really wish EPIC provides the same functionality that is currently available to iOS to Android users (i.e. Vidyo, Nuance dictation, allow imaging physicians to sign non-invasive radiology and Cardiology, etc)
Installs erratically
Android version is low quality, unable to view patient notes like the iphone version, please fix it.
Works well for clinical images, especially traumatic injuries. Would give 5 stars if fingerprint log on was available like it is for iOS.
Still implementing it at my organization. Fingerprint login is available for Android, but you have to have a phone that supports it, and the functionality has to be turned on by your org's administrator. Android tablet support would be nice. The Android app is much easier to use than the Apple version--including table of contents style navigation is a lot simpler than vague icons that require a long press to determine what they mean (as is the case in the iOS app) Currently, there's a bug with the patient lookup--I have a bunch of patients in my Recent Patient list, but I can't find them when I manually search for them.
Nice application for a quick look at patient data. Wish the android version had a tablet mode or at a minimum allowed for screen rotation. Also missing vital signs. And needs the finger print log on to be activated.

Worked fine until most recent update. Now I get ssl handshake error even after reinstalling no one it dept can fix it. Disappointed that I can no longer use it
Rarely able to log in. SSL handshake doesn't work. Then I'm locked out of Haiku AND Epic Hyperspace = No patient care. Why is Canto so much better than Haiku?
Works great when I can log in, but I get this error which does not allow me to log in anymore until after I reinstall.
IT'S SO GOOD.
Not designed for in-patient review or management. Does not pull in any flowsheets, even vitals or ins and outs. No order management.
Fingerprint support. Strong work!
Plz add feature to see another calendar date so I can see my list of clinic patients for a future date
Great app, could improve if able to see all notes and ability to put orders.
