During The Skills Show competition, Cabinetmakers are tested on design and construction of bespoke pieces of furniture, while Joiners apply expert assembly and fitting of component parts to make up a finished piece. This exclusive, complementary AR piece from the event (14-16 Nov, 2013) allows the user to explore an exploded view of all the component parts that go into making the two different Skills Show 2013 test project pieces; created by the best young woodworking apprentices in the UK. The application allows you to experience this skill area in a whole new way, seeing the skilled expertise required from a different visual perspective.
