MegaScan Document Scanner OCR

MegaScan is an OCR document scanner app for Android that uses the "optical character recognition" technology to extract texts from your papers. MegaScan allows you to use your phone camera to take pictures and scan for texts over your Word documents, PDF files, receipts, notes, invoices, whiteboards, business cards, certificates, etc.

MegaScan uses the OCR document scanner technology implemented in our servers, which uses an optimized tesseract code so you must take into account the rotation or skew. They must be corrected or no text will be recognized. Additionally brightness and contrast must be filtered. For that reason MegaScan includes functionalities for rotating, cropping, brightness and contrast.

The main features of this OCR document scanner are:

- Fully functional: no limits on number of pages, documents or pictures. We do not add watermarks on images. All the MegaScan functions are available for free.
- OCR system (multi languages supported). Extract text from images for further editing or .txt sharing.
- Improve the quality of the images before using our OCR document scanner technology:
* Contrast changes in images.
* Brightness changes in images.
- Crop the images to select only part of the images from which you want to extract text.
- Share the recognized text to any app installed on your device to create a new email, sms, translate to other languages, etc.

Please bear in mind that you need to take sharp images with good lightning for best results.
