AR Sudoku Solver

Found it wouldn't detect grids unless reducing resolution to under 1000. TIP: press menu for options, and two fingers to freeze image.

I have samsung galaxy grand. There is no dedicated key for camera. So how do I take the pic. If this app works then it is an amazing app. Give a touch screen capture option. Please reply. Thanking you. :(

Once it actually captures the sudoku correctly its instantaneous. Only 4 stars, since it is tricky to get the picture right (red tint)

It took me a google search to figure out how to use the qpp it's surprisingly unintuitive but does exactly what its supposed to. Just lower the resolution and then adjust the distance from the camera and the paper then tap the screen with two fingers to freeze it.

The images are flipped and deep red on Nexus 5x. Will up the star rating when fixed

Wow, works very well. Obviously no point to the ap except to show off , but great gimic.

Can toggle debugging modes and freeze screen but doesn't seem to solve at all. Gl!

On my Htc one m8 it only shows shades of red through the camera. Thats all there is. The screen freezes like it is supposed to when you tap it with 2 fingers, but it just sits there.

Opened the debugger and looks like it's only scanning the top 3rd or so of the picture, maybe it's the new phone, not 1 star since it appears to work for others.

Used to work on my old Samsung Galaxy S2, and S3 but doesn't work on my Samsung Galaxy S5. Hope it can be fixed. Was great when it worked.

Not sure why but it doesn't seem to work on my galaxy note 4. It opens fine but doesn't overlay the ar to solve the puzzle.

Worked well when looking at my computer screen - and I know that processing screens sometimes messes up programs that are made for paper! Nice! :)

Now I know it's not worth its money. And this is a FREE app. But all it does, is show a red version of what the camera sees. Nothing more, nothing less. I can do without!

Exactly as it says in the description: works best head on and in good lighting. Very good solving times on a nexus 5.

Really great app, solved a puzzle almost instantly. It may not be perfect at the moment, but it really does what it says :)

Works ok on butterfly s but had to reduce the resolution down from 1080p to about 720. Also working ok on htc evo 3d.

The only way it could be better would be if you could take a freeze frame to see the results better, and maybe export/save the results.

Works great on galaxy II 2 x (T989) would be nice if you could screen capture. The solved answers flash a bit

works great on my sumsung G II! Though the quality of the filled numbers is mostly unreadable and can be improved.

Good clean app, no requirements that the app have access to phone identity or other stuff apps have no business knowing. Has to be used on a clean grid, no scribblings. When the app gets the solution, the screen goes from red to white with the solution superimposed over it. Used my LG phone on a 9x9 grid, might have worked better if the lighting was better. Wish there was a way to save the solution other than freezing the screen hence the 4 stars

Excellent use of OCR. A snapshot feature would be very useful. The red means the camera doesn't have a good picture or the puzzle is not recognized.

The first AR app that has worked on my phone! Now I can tell my friends, "So you think your phone is cool? Well mine's MAGIC. Check this out bro..." Very amazed. I would give it ten stars, if I could!

Its bewildering that some people don't give this miraculous app 5 stars! It solves within 20 seconds, and it solves correctly! Nothing compares to this, you won't regret downloading.

Used this bouncing around on a train and it seemed to work. No idea if it is correct of course....

The mind boggles when thinking how much work must have gone into this. Kudos for keeping in the debug modes as well. Nice one dude.

Haven't managed to get off the red screen as yet, great idea though, hope this gets resolved!

Works very well under the right conditions. Would be even more awesome if it could pick up puzzle grids a little better.
