I was having issues with this plugging as it was not allowing me to attach an image stored in a variable using Tasker. The developer helped me through and modified his code to allow for attachments and after days of testing, it finally worked! Thanks so much for your patience and understanding!

I am not ordinarily a big author of online reviews. However, I did want to take the opportunity to take the time for this particular product and developer. With a recent upgrade to Android 5, several Python scripts that I had written were made useless. In searching for an alternative, I tried this one out. Needless to say I am thoroughly pleased. I can confirm that this is 100% compatible with Tasker and performs the described actions flawlessly. I was looking for an additional feature to be enabled so I contacted the developer. An initial response minutes later followed by next-day action shows this developer's passion and willingness to listen to a customer - always welcome in this day and age. If you are looking to use Tasker (and I assume it works equally well with Locale) to automatically send Gmail, this is the plugin for you. If you do not want/need to use the variables, you can enter your desired information into the plugin. Clearly a 5 star plugin from a 5 star developer.

This plugin is exactly what I was looking for, and it's the only one I saw that is kept up to date. It's very easy to use, and it WORKS. The support is top-notch. If you're a Tasker or Locale addict ;) try this plug-in. The dev gives you 24 hours to get a refund, not just 15 min. But you won't need a refund!
