TextNow - free text + calls

I wish people would learn how to accept the fact that not everything is perfect the way you imagine it to be whether you hate it or not whether it's broken or not tech will always mess up no matter how many times you fix it so learn how to deal with it before getting mad people use ads for money cause they need it, don't expect them to answer you if your not worthy to understand tech.

It's not unlimited after using up monthly allowance. They claim it is but it's not. You become limited to 130mb per day or you'll be terminated. For 20$/1gb of data that's easy to blow through. As a replacement for better plans like TMobile 20$/unlimited data to 50GB a month, no thanks. I've stopped recommending this service entirely as everyone I know is a cheap data hog and TMobile better serves as a replacement if you use the TextNow free app only. Great data, no lies of unlimited unlike TextNow.

It runs so slow and gets locked up all the time. So many ads make it so hard to use. It also drains the battery terribly. It used to be good but got really bad with more and more ads. People complain but just get the same generic response and they never fix anything. If everyone didn't know my number I would quit this is a heartbeat. The phone isn't worth a damn either. It never works when you need it to.

This I think is the best phone app out there. I mean it's why I haven't had to pay a phone bill and 5.5 years. I do pay the 2.99$ for the premium once a month. Premium is worth it, but the first 3 years I never paid for premium and it wasn't bad at all. I would be allot nicer if the gif. for Google keyboard would work. Awesome app!

Gave me cell service in a 1 horse town that barely has internet...great product!! sat for almost a year where i could not use my android unless i drove 150 km out of the bush to use...now i can use my cell phone as a phone...thanks guys hope your product flies off the shelf! Anyone in a remote canadian cabin should have this App...better n sliced bread.

Worked great for over a year. Then today it failed to recieve several messages causing a massive fight. Then when they did come in the time stamp was for the time the messages were submitted, not when they were received. This destroyed my evidence and almost ended a 3 year relationship. Uninstalling

Doesn't work very well. Very slow to get app to working state. Tried on one of my no longer used phones and could hardly hear the other person initiating the call from the app. Later tried initiating the call from the phone icon and then could hear other person just fine. I then uninstalled and installed on a newer unused phone that I had. Still Very slow to get up to a state where it's usable. Making a call from the app icon is OK but the ability to use the phone icon on the phone itself no longer let's you select TextNow as the way to call. This app needs some work.

Great so far!! Widget is still acting screwy. Any time I receive a incoming call and go to use the widget after the phone call, it opens and closes quickly when I press the icon in the center (the telephone icon). Also, there should be a way to add any dollar and cent amount that I choose, not just the different amounts you have pre-existing.

App is not stable enough to be a reliable replacement for my normal phone app. I get a lot of dropped calls and app crashes, and it sometimes drains the battery. The Wi-Fi calling is a great feature but often unreliable.

Was unable to pay my bill til two weeks past the due date and it took less than 2 min to download install and begin to use. Best of all unlimited calls as well as texts. Love it!!!

Worst app ever ! Always shuts down calls are not clear . Messages dont come through. Hate it about to uninstall and try a different app. Anything has got to be better than this !

Very easy to use. I live in the country, so my plan service is very spotty. But with an internet connection, this will hold a clear call w/out dropping. Love it!!

since this new update, it has made me dislike this app, because when I'm talking on the phone with the WiFi it drops within 3 minutes everytime. Please try to fix this, it has to do with the more ads you added in. it's slow now too.

Great app, everything is free unlike other phone apps and they even have it set up so you can get an actual prepaid plan through them if you would like.

Horrible customer service worst ive had to deal with. Glad i switched to consumer cellular same price way better service.

Works great for me. Love that the calls are unlimited & I don't have to watch videos for more minutes. It's only temporary but I'm definitely going to keep the app on my phone for future use.

It's great! Easy to use. The only thing I don't like is that it won't let you block 5 or 6 digit text numbers. Like from companies. Idky. But that sucks.

Garbage! Just installed it and got zero free minutes. Who the f$%% needs a paid so before trying out the quality of calls. I m uninstalling it

The ONLY problem I've had, is the app restarts a few times a day, and once in awhile I'll be talking to someone and I can't hear them, which forces me to recall them. I have 100mgs of internet and am 5 feet from my wifi.

Works well enough, but can be a pain to activate phones. The way it handles group SMS is really bad

Sucks the life out of your battery . Phone gets locked up. App does not respond 80% of the time. Never works when I need it too.

I've been using this app for a while now and it's been great thus far. Now I'm having to reset my phone every day at least 5+ times. I'm on a Samsung Galaxy S6 AT&T Android 7.something. So the problem is at times a circle with an "x" in it. The same thing as when you press and hold on the pop up chat head to delete it. I make sure that there is no chat heads still up, I clear the app que, the notifications, and any other way I can think of to exit out of the app. It won't allow me to open any app that are along the app tray on the bottom until I reset my phone. Please fix the bug

I would give it 5 starts but I paid for the yearly subscription in January and it just cancelled my premium account one month later saying I need to upgrade to premium. Why when I bought it last month for a year

I love it... i can call my. Boyfriend and the only thing I don't like is I has a bubble and a text will come up saying that you have a open chat floating

I was very disappointed to find that Kitchener, Ontario based company does not support porting Canadian numbers. Truthfully, this wifi textcall app. Is easy to use with a nice balance of options for the user to stay in control.i rarely saw an ad n when I did was easy to skip over. the best part is how I never needed to reload min. Or watch a video for credits it was always free no matter who I called or where I txt. Completely FREE!!! all you need is wifi connection.

I used to love this app. But now? Not so much. Its slow, laggy, full of ads, and I'm pretty certain it gave me a virus. Well, obviously not, but sometimes its so slow that I have the urge to chuck my phone across the room. I feel like I could drive over to my friends house and talk to them in person before it would finish loading.

I enjoy it, but the app is so slow. Sometimes I think it's not going to work cuz it just stays black for ever.

Love the app. Problem with floating notification. Blocks soft keys after deleted requiring restart of phone. Please fix annoying.

Very good alternative to regular phone service. Only works in wifi..but I went 2 whole years using just this app and it worked great...if you're someone who can handle only being reached when YOU want to be

This app is great! I got really behind on my cell bill and found thisapp for free!! What a lifesaver for people that are struggling.
