A widget perhaps - push notifications even better, daily word with a brief description in drop-down to open the app would be perfect. One thing, the link of the quoted text is ridiculously tiny - cannot read it.

The words are fantastically obscure and interesting and the app is well laid out BUT sometimes THE ADVERTISING COVERS THE BOTTOM BAR SO YOU CAN'T REFRESH OR BROWSE HISTORY OR SAVE... SO ANNOYING! Because otherwise, five stars...
