Private Photo Vault

Works great in that when you sleep your phone or leave the app it will ask for a password again. Seems pretty secure. The reason I'm giving only 2* is that when I exported photos back to my phone it was in a totally scrambled order. It would take me weeks to unscramble all of these and out related photos back next to each other how I originally had them...

This app is great for hiding private pictures and videos, and I definitely would recommend this app to anyone who needs a photo vault. However, this app would be perfect if it had external SD card support. The added layer of protection really makes this different from other vaults, but the lack of SD card support is a big drawback for me.

I trusted this app with my pictures and lost over 200 pictures that I will never get back. I'm highly disappointed and disgusted. Wish there was a way to get them back but when I try screen goes black and sometimes white. Anyone know if I still have a chance getting my pictures back?

Useless app. After a few days won't open so I have lost all the data. Tried clearing cache but didn't work and keeps forcing my phone into do not disturb mode without warning

I hate this app!! I saved all of my pictures on it, very important ones. And I have all my pictures for school projects and more on it. Well the app stopped working and will not load any of my pictures or even open the app. Terrible app!! Do not download! It will delete your stuff!! I emailed them and they never answered. Pathetic.

God dammit fix whatever you broke. Media won't play it just constantly fights me, when I open a video it'll just continuously back out of it, over and over again no matter how many times I fight it until eventually it decides to freeze and I have to force close the app.

I don't know why, but every time I try to open the app now, it just displays a white screen and crashes. For a long time it was working fine, then out of nowhere it stopped working. I refuse to delete the app, because there are hundreds of irreplaceable photos and videos there, and every onces in a while it does work. So I know they are still there, I just cant access them.

Bad reviews are confirmed for the Android, I have the same app on my iPhone and I love it, works beautifully. On Android after a few mins of testing the app, I had loaded 10 pics on there and when I came it open the app again it made me set a passcode(again) and all my photos are gone (white screen when I try to add new ones). This app is great for iPhone but needs much work on Android.

I had the paid (pro version) of this app, last November during and auto update it ereased all my pictures without asking,,, it was a clean sweep,100% on its own...I could not prevent it or stop it. I was pissed and tried everything to stop it, but no luck. On top of this, the version that installed on my tablet was the standard ( not the pro version that I had purchased)... talk about adding insult to injury. .. I sent an email to the app developer via their website, but to this date no one replied. so. what kind of rating does it deserve,,, you tell me. ed

Obnoxious ads, flashes the selfie flash in your face every time it launches, and corrupts and deletes files that you cant recover because it removes them from your gallery. Dont waste your time, look for an alternative.

This is the best photo privacy app that I've seen on the Android Play Store so far. Does everything that I want it to do, no login email required, and the album/photo limits and Ads are completely unlimited after a 1-time fee of $2.99. Though it would be nice if external SD was available in this all. However, there is ONE problem that prevents me from giving all 5 stars. Knowing I also have this app on iPhone, there is one difference that the Android version lacks. The ability to take in-app SCREENSHOTS is not available, unlike on the iPhone where that function is available. Gives the following error: "Unable to capture screenshot. Prevented by security policy." If y'all can fix the in-app screenshots to make it just as good on Android as it is on iOS, then I'd be more than happy to give the full 5-star rating on this app.

Was very happy with the ios version of this app but when I changed to the android version it has very little of the capability I enjoyed in the ios version. I paid for the upgrade again but still doesn't delete files from the camera gallery once moved across to this app, doesn't seem to have the dummy login ID and some other usability of the ios version - as though this is a very poor version of the ios app. Also, couldn't transfer the files over from ios to android which presented a significant issue and hours and hours of my time.

At first I liked the app. I tried recently to open my app and my password won't work. I know it's the correct password because I wrote it down I also entered my email address for recovery purposes. I can't get into app help is there any way to get my picture back

I bought this app a while back and I forgot one of my passwords. I have emailed them a few times and they have not answered back and all. From what they say on there website is totally wrong. They say if you have forgotten ur password and have typed it wrong 5 times a message will aper and ask you if you want to recover your password. I did mine over 30 times and nothing ever came up. I deleted the app thibking if I reinstall it. I can sign in with my own account but not even that. When I try to click the question mark on the upgrade to pro nothing happens. Now I have lost all my pictures and videos of my friends. Thanks alot

Why has this deleted my photos?! I made a photo album and wasn't really happy with the app. So I uninstalled it. And when I looked into my normal photo gallery the picture weren't there! Can someone explain please? Because this has me furious!

I had this app on my iPhone and paid for pro then got an Android and paid for pro again cause I liked it.. Have had this Android one for about a year Went to access my account and EVERY PICTURE I saved for 3 years had been deleted and now stating that I Don't HAVE PRO..... tell me where did my almost 200 pictures go.... THIS Isn't OKAY. I paid twice for this app. AND NOW. saying I have to paY for it again and almost 200 pictures have been wiped.... Can't get the pictures back they were saved to the vault for a reason..

Although I see some glitches like, needing to enter the 4th digit of my pin twice or not seeing ALL of my folders when trying to upload. This does exactly what I want.

So here it is a month later with still no response to my email as to why the private photos are left in the gallery after being moved to this app. The last update was done in Jan of this year I guess the developer doesn't care about this app anymore as to not answer emails or even do an update for all the bugs. Time to find a new app

im totally disgusted by this app i dont recommed anyone to get this i lost 300 photos? im so angry!! why make apps like this when its useless, those pics wer my most loved memories

Always shuts down. Every time I use this app it works, then shuts down and restarts and works and restarts. Not one time has it run consistently. And great now it doesn't open anymore.

Useless app crashed while encrypting the pictures...lost all of my pictures...do not download. Emailed to support as well, no response, stupid stupid app!!!!

I lost over 150-200 photos. It does not have an option of taking photos back to phone memory. Now i lost over many important ones. This is the worst app ever. Please do not download.

I had this App. I had over 200 photos and I lost all of it. Those pictures were very important to me. I tried looking up to get it back. I even tried to contact them and to this day no response. I wish I could get those pictures back. This app is not good.

Rubbish , i lost my so many private photos because i forgot password and there is no option. of recovery, You are so bad. You lost my life.....Please don't use this app.

Owning the iOS version, I expected the Pro Version to be at least somewhat similar ... IT IS NOT. The pro version is more like a free iOS version. There is nothing pro about it. You can't even save files to SD card. Total waste of money! Very disappointed with this Android version.

Stay far far away from this pos unreliable waste of videos and $2.99. It will crash and freeze your phone and then not allow you to play videos stored after you've probably already deleted them from your photo/gallery files. Heed this warning!!!

I really like the app overall. However I just purchased pro and whenever I try to access wireless sync, the app crashes. I really need the wireless sync to work.

It's totally useless app. The major problem I faced, it doesn't export images back to gallery. Try to improve it please. Thank you very much.

Great App But now i am in problem. my phone display is broken and it is not working. i want my photos recover on another phone. is that possible. kindly answer me as fast as possible.

Please Google should have a way of checking claims of app developers before hosting them on its store and also be assessing those hosted apps over time. If they do, this very app will be billions of kilometers away from its store and people's use. How on earth can one import files (pictures and videos) into this app and can no longer export or get those files back? Leaving the user to either continue use the app despite its many shortcomings or loose the entire files should the app be uninstalled. I have go thru some of the reviews here and found there are others that have same problem. Yet the developer never cared or are deficient to solve the problem. A look into those that rated this app 5 or 4 star might possibly show that somebody(s) affiliated or working for this team might have created pseudo accounts with which they rate this apps. Seriously the real rating for this app should be -1000star.

Had this app via IOS and was more than satisfied with it's configuration, programming the app didn't seem like it would of been hard, for some reason the publisher neglected the Android version, after reading the reviews, I immediately uninstalled after installing. Don't bother. Just send photos to a private email or fond an alternative app.

This app started downloading my photos, deleted them from my phone before they finished uploading. My pictures are not not in the app and now deleted from my phone. I just lost all of those pictures I tried to upload. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP!!!

I can't import photos Into the app I'm just greeted with a white screen that says choose media at the top and nothing to select Pretty much useless

Crashes sometime or flat out freezes or glitches. It's pretty secure though.

It is a very helpfull program. The only thing, is that if u forget the password your files, you can not get them back...:/

I forgot the password of small album which i create in the vault. Pls help me to recover it. There should b some option to recover it. Pls help me out even i have mail u. M using samsung s8 version 7.0. M highly disappoint.

The app stopped working once the update updated it when i didnt want too and everytime i click on the app it takes me to pin code and kicks me out lost pics plz Fix

My phone broke and it sucks that there is no way to back up your pictures, some of my favorite ones were on there and now they are gone, very disappointed with this app
