This app hasnt worked right since 4.0 version which I have been reporting for about 12 months now with no fix released and no responses from the dev. I used to really love this app but now it just sucks and the dev gives no support. Do not buy this app and support a dev that doesnt care. I would rate this 0 stars if I could. Edit...Now its been over a year. Thought maybe the dev had died but saw he released another app instead of fixing the one I already paid for

Seems like the auto update is now working! So my only complaint about the app gfs been addressed. Love it!

Edit: you got my money. Enjoy it. But don't expect anything more from me if the advertised feature (auto-update) doesn't work. Original review: I love having the Google widget on my home page, but the widget doesn't automatically update, regardless of the update interval set in settings. When I open the app after a couple of days of seeing the same doodle, I see I've missed a whole bunch of doodles.

I love Google doodles so was excited for this app and went straight for the paid version so it would auto update daily. Unfortunately the widget was tiny on my nexus 7 and it would not resize. Ended up downloading the free version which does include a resizeable widget. If developer updates paid app I would definitely rate higher.
