JuiceNet - Smart EV Charging for Android
Works well. What happened to the Volt? I like the app, but it's missing Volt settings.
Good app before. Better app now...but it's missing the Missing Chevy Volt ⚡⚡⚡⚡
Nice update to android app, but no preset for Chevy Volt. Doesn't look like there is a way to manually add.
Only problem is you can't select a Chevy Volt as your vehicle
App and EVSE are stable and work flawlessly. Thanks for a great product. That said the app screenshots do not reflect the application available version 1.483. Charge session history and miles added guesstimate is not available yet. 2 stars are given for including screenshots with features that do not match or are not available to all phones or at all. It's not clear why from the description. 4/5 stars will be added once this is addressed. That said the screenshots of the phone app on app look fantastic. 5/5 stars will be added if you're able to incorporate the following features: - Manually input the number of miles driven per charge to feed "miles added" guesstimate algorithm - Include current ambient temperature in the charge session data - Ability to discern between multiple vehicle charge profiles and separate in charge session history (6.6kW vs 3.3kW vs 1.5kW vs 10kW onboard chargers)
I just installed my Pro 40, and the app only shows one Amps/kWh screen. The screenshots show three pages. I bought the pro edition for the app interface I saw on their website. The charger works great though.
No power available light. Needs over-ride button for schedule charging so you can 'charge now' without finding persons phone with app to disable. Send me a text that a scheduled charge happened.
Rolled mine back to v1.4.83 as this interface is all you actually need.
Everything works great so far..
Updated to 7.1.1 and JuiceBox disappeared, now the set up wizard won't take my wifi password. Used to work fine, now it's useless to me
It is so buggy on Android 7.0 Nexus 6p. Blew my wifi settings all the time. Fix bugs plz. Great product and bad software
New update breaks the delayed charging option. Historical charge sessions are wonky. Charges to 100% sometimes although I chose less.
Android 7.1.1/Nexus 5x. Cannot complete set-up. Cannot use WiFi features at all. Regretting purchase of Juicebox over the many other options.
rarely works, cant access server etc. why not allow mw to connect directly, I paid for wifi but thats only as reliable as your craptastic server.
New updates horrible. Doesn't remember my car & can't change charge times! Please fix ASAP.
The interface could be made easier to use
If I set a specific number of kilowatts to be added to the car it will do so, but after about six hours it will resume the charge and keep on pumping in power, beyond my set point.
After new version upgrade, the app does not show the recent charging data reflecting real data.its missing few days . Recently it's not updating the details tab with charging data as well.
The app is easy to use, intuitive, and has lots of detailed information. It does all the things I want and does them simply. It also has lots of good historical and real time data for when I want to do more. Well done.
To buy the Juicebox with Wi-Fi is a nice upgrade but not required as it will work without it BUT finally the app is catching up with the equipment. Nice improvement of the app. Love to see one more partition of the stats, session, monthly, lifetime AND specific vehicle stats for those with multiple EV's and/or PHEV'S. Thanks.
I still wish they had an online tutorial for some of the functions of the app, but with the last updates, I am now able to set charging stop points like was advertised. This was one of the main reasons I bought the Juicebox over other EVSEs.
Setup is a bit of a guessing game. Can't enter a Canadian postal code in the garage setup. More detailed setup instructions would be easy to do and would make thinks easier. Not sure what the gauge/meter is supposed to be - miles added to the car's battery? Looks fancy but not much detail.
Setup is breeze other than the serial id. Why not put a QR scanner in there? I had to use third party app to scan, copy the I'd, and then paste into the app. Insane! Also, why's there a red Tesla in the app when showing charging. There are far more other EV ... Let owners customize, or select according to the vehicle, or allow customization. Just drop that presumptuous pic.
I see a lot of people complaining about features, etc, even someone complaining about the home page graphic not matching their car? The juice box is awesome! It works great, and this app goes way beyond my expectations. Scheduling works perfectly, I can see the status, and I can even tell it to stop charging after a certain number of miles added -- something my car can't even do. I can't imagine needing anything more!
I wish we still had the power meter as opposed to the new "guess-o-meter" that estimates range or miles added. This is not helpful and my car's app gives me accurate information on charge status if I want it. Otherwise I like this app very much.
Current version of the app does not stop charging at the specified charge limit. It's very frustrating to spend an extra $300 for the Wi-Fi version only to have it not work as advertised.
Should have bought regular Juice Box instead of Wi-Fi equipped Pro. App does not accurately charge to a specified setting. I end up using my Leaf Manager App to monitor charging progress.
How am I supposed to change units from the mix of Metric and British Imperial that I have now, to the US standard?
Dies doing some operations like adding a car, which *still* doesn't work. Times are sometimes in Pacific even though I'm not.
After the latest update, TOU schedule has stop working. It ignores what I have set the times to start charging. Starts charging as soon as I plug in my Fiat 500e
I love my JuiceBox but the new app is the worst possible upgrade. I wish I can go back to the previous app. It is a typical case of good small company trying to do too much. You guys are what? Charging device company, so you should be providing status for your device, not the useless predictions of range and distances. The car manufacturers have that covered. Just give me the total amps and charging amps. Give me a place to enter my per unit cost of electricity and you are done.
The car splash screen is a Tesla not my Ford Fusion energi. No option to add energi? Also no settings from what I can tell to alert me when done charging or not charging when it should be.
The information it displays and the ability to control it, make it second to none. I like the responsiveness of the application and the look of it, however, I am rather jealous of iPhone users who get a much cleaner looking application. It looks as if they also get more functionality as well. Hopefully we get an update just like them.
Only loses a star because it's missing push notifications. Server emails are a good work around but the app itself needs push notifications.
Does exactly what you need. Worked perfectly on my Nexus 6.
Mostly I love this, but I have a request... My weekend doesn't line up with everyone else, so having a daily schedule would be wonderful. I work at 2am, so can only take advantage of lowest rates 2 days, Fri and Sat. Thanks again for a great overall system!
Setup worked great once I got a good WiFi signal to the unit. Many public chargers I've used don't give nearly as much power as my JB (a full 6.6 kW into my 2015 LEAF). Hoping for an option to charge to 90% someday because I live on a hill and miss out on all the regen I could get on my way out.
Works. Dashboard and control panel are good too.
Great product and a reliable app

Хорошо поработали над обновление. Но почему нельзя было добавить возможность менять на европейский формат величин: км/мили, F/C, 60/50Hz. А, также, устанавливать тариф эл.энергии!
