Workout Assistant for Android
I like the ability to add your own exercises but agree with those who want to group exercises by folder. Customizable tags or folders would be great.
Wish i can group sets of work outs. Also what program to use to export my data into pc?
Nice app, but it would be really nice NOT to have to round out times, if I run X miles in 9:30, let me enter it that way please.

it should graph the total of reps on 1 day, currently if the same exercise is done multiple time a day it only graph the first

We need the ability to group exercises by day instead of a long list. Need ability to sort by something other than alpha such as station or sequence that we do our routines. Needs ability to cancel an edit instead of just OK...if I start changing the name of the exercise and decide to abort, I have to reenter anyway. Needs ability to also manually sort/move a particular exercise up or down. Needs to be able to show history beyond what we did last time for tracking. Let us decide history length too.
The app closes for an unknown reason, very aggravating. App doesn't like any time format I've tried. Need example if it's going to be so touchy.
A bit too limited for my needs. I'd like to log each set independently because I progress upwards in weights and not same number of reps every set.
Good way to keep track of workout, just wish you could add a folder to put leg or chest exercises into instead of all on one page.
Waaaaaaaay to simplistic for regimented routine. Can't set up routines, just individual exercises. Probably good for people who do circuit training.
Very basic interface. Needs a modern update. Long press to see history, needs menu history option.
Great application! But make input numerical by default (weight entry)
Let's u record everything except calories. Basic, but ok. Graph function displays nothing however.
I'm giving this 5 stars even though it needs an update and the developer seems to have abandoned this app. Regardless, it's easy to setup, versatile to use, and works simply. Doesn't work with WidgetLocker (I use Tasker to suspend WidgetLocker while Workout is running). Main problem is it isn't optimized for larger screens. I like it anyway.
I was looking for something simple and quick to log my activity at the gym during my workouts. Mostly for the sake of keeping track of the weights I'm lifting on the machines. I use another app for the more complicated information, such as calories, but I never wanted to use it at the gym. This app makes it quick and easy to take down the info on my phone without looking like a total slacker goofing around on my phone every few minutes during my workout. Perfect! :)
Am trien it out maybe a counter would be nice maybe have like plan to follow an reminders that lets u know that its time to work out
What a handy little app ! Does exactly as it says; records the exercises that 'you' want and allows full customisation with reps, calories burned, time etc and all for free. 4.5 stars from this very happy user. HTC Desire Z
Great app. Please allow text entry in the fields, as some gym equipment has letter designations on the plates.
Needs charts and ability to enter workout date (have been using Excel until now.)
I've been using this app for over a year now and I absolutly love it. I've looked for other apps but they are just too detailed for their own good. You spend more time filing them out than you do working out.
I like how quickly I can log my workout. The problem is that the graphs have stopped updating. It will only graph the first 6 dates of each.Garminfone
I like that its just a basic app. No bells or whistles. I don't go to a gym so I don't need the fancy stuff.
Perfect for keeping track of PRs. Needs database of excersises and maybe some charts to visibly see progress but love the simplicity of it.
The ability to do different number of reps per set can get tricky, but very good app

Love love love this app! Simple and exactly what I need to keep track of the amount of weight I'm lifting! Great app! Not overly crowded with what you don't need to just keep track of your workout!
Works great, very simple. Just wish the graphs were better and could be combined.

Needs to be able to add notes. Ie: "was rly tired this day" or "this weight was extremely easy".
