Continuous Local Time is an app that calculates a more rarified representation of local time.
Imagine there were no timezones and no daylight savings. Instead, we all use Continuous Local Time. This is calculated by using your exact longitude to proportionally modify UTC time to a time appropriate to your exact location. It's as if timezones didn't come in chunks, but instead were smoothly continuous around the globe.
Imagine how awesome it would be, living in a slightly different time offset to your neighbours, Picture the brilliance of having a significantly different time at work and at home.
Arranging meetings would be more interesting! Catching up with friends would require calculators and headscratching! In fact figuring out anything to do with a calendar would become an hilarious adventure!
Dealing with local people and events would become exactly as bewildering as dealing with remote people, and anyone on the internet, is now.
I urge you to try Continuous Local Time. Our current way of dealing with local time may be stupid, but with Continuous Local Time, the stupid really burns!

As a full screen app it's usage is quite limited. Would be much more useful to have a screen widget displaying local time. Also would be nice to have an option to select between Local Apparent Time or Local Mean Time.

It would be nice to know my real velocity when travelling east or west, that'd be a bit more involved though.
