About Envelopes (budget system)
Envelopes utilizes the popular envelope budgeting metaphor and enables tracking of expenses accordingly.

You have to add your own envelopes on first run, of course!
You can have as many different envelopes as you want. You can rename and delete envelopes at whim. You can search for keywords in each ledger. There is a running balance of each envelope and a total balance. You can transfer money from one envelope to another.

I dislike the symbols. I wish it just had words like "fill envelopes" etc. Instead there is an arrow! How is one to know what an arrow is supposed to mean.

It's perfect! I recently completed FPU and wanted a digital envelope system so that I could self-monitor spending. This app allows me so much flexibility. It doesn't over-automate the process and doesn't require access to your bank or credit accounts. This is the exact tool I was looking for. Thank you so much for helping me to continue on my financial journey. PS - I hope you continue to make improvements in the GUI. I would happily support a paid version.

As I was creating my envolopes! everything was working great. I was thinking "yes, I finally found the perfect envelope app" I got to a certain envelope and bam!! It said unfortunately envelopes have stopped working. No biggy, I'll just get back on and it will work again, just like other apps that have done that, we'll turned out that it's a BIG biggy, cause it will NOT let me back on now. I shut my phone off and back on and still same issue. Worries me for the future. not good

The sapphire blue makes it difficult for me to see any of the writing. I loved it before the theme change. I suggest having background options for us to choose from. To be honest, I liked the bland best of the 3 I've seen to date (with the green being my second choice). This blue is just really "busy".

Just downloaded tonight but so far i like what i see. I had installed and uninstallled about 8 different envelope apps hating them all immidiately. Why do they have all be so complex? I just wanted a no muss no fuss, plain and simple envelope system. It appears i found it with Envelopes. Admittedly the look is kind of blah, but i can get over that. Providing i find no bugs my review stands :-)

Edit - 10/20/17 I would like to see an option to save the data to removable storage so that when I change devices I don't have to reenter all of my information manually. All things considered, I still like this app better than anything else I've seen. - Thanks!
