BLE Suite

BLE Suite is designed to aid Bluetooth Low Energy device developers in accomplishing their mission faster. Actually designed in due course of developing many of our own BLE devices, BLE Suite is forged out of need rather than as an option. Hence this BLE Manager App packs enough punch to fight out the challenges that may arise there.

BLE Suite has primarily a Device viewer through which the available devices are listed. The device names, address and RSSI are shown along with connect options. Up on opening on any of the devices, user is presented with 3 screens - Service Browser, Widgets Viewer and Log Screen.

Service Browser:
All the services supported in BLE Device are listed with their names. Any of these services can be expanded, information like Characteristics/Descriptors viewed and managed. Some options supported are
• Standard names as specified by the Standard Bluetooth Low Energy Profiles.
• Configurable Data Format for the characteristics.
• Enable/Disable Notifications for the characteristics.
• Read and Write Characteristics

Widget Screen:
The Service/Characteristics information from the BLE devices can be managed in an intuitive way in the Widget screen. There are various UI widgets that can display the data in desired form. Feature supported include
• Add and Remove widgets
• Read Once feature which read all UI Widgets.
• Auto-Reload to read all widgets at a configurable time interval
• Edit Data easily
• Overview Widget - Shows BLE Device address, RSSI, Number of Connections/Disconnections and the time information about connection.
• Device Widget - Shows Model Number, Manufacture Name, Serial Number, Hardware and Software Revision of the device.
• Accelerometer Widget - Shows X-axis, Y-axis, and Z-axis Value and Polling Interval with configurable base.
• Alert Widget - Configurable mode selection and Alert now feature.
• Battery Widget – Display available battery level
• Custom Widget - User configurable data format for any custom Service and Characteristics UUID with read and write.
• Update Widget - OTA feature based on TI format

Log Screen:
This screen can be used to view all the log information accumulated for the selected device. Available support includes
• Selected events specific to Connection, Read and Write Characteristics and Notifications etc.
• Displays time and type of Log data.
• Clear all the log information in single click.
