Mail for Yahoo - Android App

Won't let me sign in. It just freezes up. I'm going to have to switch to G-mail or something. Couldn't be more disappointed with this app. I downloaded it because Yahoo made me. I'm out of here. I can only say don't do it.

I describe it as the poorest app I have ever downloaded for, it is denying all my existing details of my email. So friends don't waste your time in downloading this fake app

I like the idea of having my yahoo account directly viewable on my phone primarily because I can block spam emails better but there is just too much going on in this application (colors, pop-ups, letter, etc.). When I check my email, I don't want to see a pop-up, I want to just go in to my email application. I also wish they could minimize the visual effects. Organization would be better suited for the user to utilize if they wish to do so.

I installed the update and every thing went haywire!! The space bar will go backwards and put words in the middle of words. The thing that suggests words as you type sometimes puts double words down or the word I start to type plus the whole word again all as one word! I was using it as my only mailbox, but now I am having to uninstall it, notify all my contacts and use Gmail instead!! I will miss the original version but the truth is that I can't trust it any more.

Ever since I did the new yahoo I've had nuthin but trouble with it. Kept telling me my password is wrong. Absolutely nothing helps and somehow my voicemail is no longer attached to the network... What did u do? Tech support? How do we reach u people? My old yahoo is with my other accounts, it's the only way I can do yahoo. Another thing my printer won't print on command either...

I switched from gmail to yahoo mail recently, but the adds are too annoying, if you want to make it better than Gmail adds shouldn't be there at all.

I have to reboot phone after reading 2-3 emails or they won't show up or the links won't work. And its not my phone because it has happened on multiple devices

Finally an app I can use that doesn't auto direct me to a foreign site. Location services can be switched off. The official app keeps taking me to jahoo jp. No account there. Good app.

I keep getting the same message over and over that I'm not signed into my email for Yahoo. A password works on my desktop but not on this app. Can't get rid of that message now. Every 20 minutes my phone rings with the same damn message.

This app is the only way i can get to my yahoo mail since the mobile site always crashes my browser on my s6. The ads are non stop though. Getting ridiculous.

This new update is horrible. To many ads and not user frendly. Would like my old version back.

I have been with them a long time I always get what I need I have had a few things saying Yahoo isn't working right now but only in this last month but it went away that was annoying that's why the 4 stars

I've been locked out! Yahoo fine on my laptop but can't access on android. Change quick or I'm switching to gmail! Annoyed! !!

I've had this account for years and it's always been fine. The only issue I have is the advertising that they allow you pop up. I know the bills have to get paid Yahoo, but this is a bit much.

The App works alright, but when you delete your emails, the speed slows down allot... The newer version works better is my smartphone was compatible.

Using All Mail with this Smart Phone and added my Gmail, etc...We shall see. ~

Have trouble viewing mail each time. Keeps telling me my email is not secure, even after I have up graded. Very painful and annoying.

Yahoo forces you to use this app so that they can flood you with yet more garbage advertising then the spam emails you already have.

As far as user-friendly Yahoo is the worst email on the planet and as far as a retrieving a lost password when you don't no longer have your same phone it's impossible

The app just stopped working since 17th of October 2016.Prior to that it worked well for about 4months.It better be fixed.I use an infinix hot

The pop up ads for this is just unbelievable I had to uninstall it I couldn't even use it for work-related purposes everytime I try to open my email there was so much pop up on the bottom you could never actually see the whole email and it's so horrible at horrible horrible app.

My data is being consumed by all the spam mail I don't normally get bothered with

You have. to log in EVERY time you use it, it bogs down my phone, I'm getting rid of it

Takes to long to load and git adveet popups the other yahoo mail does not so removing this & loading other one

The app is Great and so low in storage use, much better than the Yahoo7 app for 3GB. Thanks alot :)

The app works better than the one provided by Yahoo. I just hate the ads. Lose them and it would be perfect. :-)

My friends have not been able to send me a single email using this app. I am using another.

It's an ad interrupted by occasional email access.

There is no sign out button and there is no way to switch or add new email id. Very bad

It takes too long ...and the ads are irritating...feels like it is only made for those ads and nothing else

I have an existing account. But since it's been a while since I used it. It's asking for my old phone #. And since I've replaced the phone and number I can't retrieve my I important information i had saved on this account. Sucks when no one will help you. What's the point of having a tech support team. If you can't get help much less an answer. Gmail here I come. Guess I'll just have to start over.

Yahoo is denying me access to my existing account. I have used this account for years. Th÷y want me to use their new, more secure app but it won't accept my email address & password. I am locked out without reason & noone to contact to fix it. BOOO YAHOO

Since Yahoo being Hackee, the login procedure is impossible to complete without a phone to receive text on. Using this recommended yahoo app it does not import my settings. What else can I do to get logged into my account??

I can't stand reading my e-mails. I would like to read them without being bored with anouncers of all sort of not interesting things and all the time. Please, quit them or at least reduce them.

The design is too busy, glaring and annoying, blinking ads that are so in your face. I get a notification but when i click it, the mails aren't there and it takes a while to load. I like the yahoo app for the iPhone better. Clean and simple. NO ADS!

This is very poorly designed, basic to the point of stupidity, cumbersome, and full of oversized, and crowded images. Nothing is labeled, the functionality is vastly reduced and there's lots of bright colored buttons. I thought that being specifically designed for android would make for a better product. Wrong-o. The original Yahoo mail is crap, the Android version is so useless that it's only marginally better than nothing. This is a big step back. I have to delete messages individually using several steps. If I want to move messages to folders, I'm stuck. I'm sure there's a way to do it, I've just been too disgusted to make the effort. I wish someone would design the app to support business professionals. Something functional and useful. A couple of years ago it was a great app. Now it's crap. Mierda.

The app does not access my e-mail account, for no apparent reason. This app still needs to have the bugs worked out!
