About Medicine Tracker

If you are looking at this application for the first time I would recommend you look at the new app called Medicine Tracker 2. See the note below.

If you take a number of medicines it can be difficult to keep track of what you took and when. This application allows you to keep track of your medicine use.

You can view your entire history or look at the history by medicine or by medicine category (Pain Reliever, OTC, Prescription, etc).

If your doctor recommends you keep a diary of your medicine use, this is a very convenient way of doing so.

This is not (yet) a reminder application. Just a way to maintain history by someone who needed this himself.

If you have any problems or recommendations send email to the listed email address or go to my website and navigate to the 'Contact Us' page and send an email through the web interface. I am looking forward to finding ways to make this more useful to more people. All ideas are welcome.

Important Note:

I have to apologize but I have had a problem with submitting a new version of this application. Unfortunately, I can no longer update this app. I am providing a new application that will be supported into the future called Medicine Tracker 2. Unless you need the facilities of Medicine Tracker 2 (email, spreadsheet support, notes) I don't recommend switching over since the new app cannot access the records in this app. However, the new features may be useful and worth the hassle of moving over for some.

If you are a new user I would recommend using the new app (Medicine Tracker 2) as it will be supported into the future.

Again, I apologize for any inconvenience this causes anyone but it cannot be avoided.

To commenter who said no way to change names: I think that you can if you long-press. Positive : busy or absent-minded people could use this App to track other daily health tasks, i.e. "worked out," "ate lunch," "whitening strips," etc. (App only requires a title). App could be tweaked for landscape mode. "Add dose" screen hides "OK" button in landscape.

The ability to add categories wasn't apparent at all at the outset, and I can't find a way to remove or edit category or medicine names. After successfully adding an entry there was no feedback at all! Poor usability and aesthetics. But it does do what it's supposed to do, which is unambitious enough.

Keeps track when I remember to put it in. Only down fall is I can't delete or adjust if I make a mistake.

This is exactly what I needed since I take medication to help me focus throughout the day, I often forget when I took the last. But now I can finally keep track :) it could be improved if amount of dosage was added tho

Missing the ability to put in a dosage of the medicines and I can't edit the names of my medicines, it doesnt update after I hit ok. Good otherwise

Needs. A button so you can change doses and move them in to category's.you know. A page for each one of them ok, it would help. Would. Give 5star's .

This app is very helpful to me in tracking my daily medicine. Its nice to not carry a notebook around. It doesnt currently allow for name changes but doses can be added to the name of the meds when you add them to the list. It doesnt let you hide discontinued meds either but i am sure the dev will be working on updates to it. Great app. Droid X2

I like that it is simple to use to keep track of meds. I just wish you could change the time in the history to read as a 12-hour format instead of 24-hour. Also would be nice if you could setup repeating reminders to take your meds.

Nice & easy Would like to set a start time for 24hr period. And med properties for max dose frequency in 24hrs. Then it'd get 5* Love this app otherwise. Great alternative to pen and paper. Nice, clean and simple.
