VRV: Anime, game videos & more

Works great with the subscription. I was paying for crunchyroll before this and for just a bit more you get access to offline mode and also more content from people like funamation! Only thing that is annoying is the go premium button will not disappear even though I have premium. I click it and it gives me the "oops I forgot I was premium response" beyond that it works great! Wish it was easier to tell when new episodes came out.

I like the app, however, it definitely has issues. There is no fast forward or rewind buttons like the Crunchyroll app has. I have had many issues with subtitles suddenly stopping yet video continues. I usually have to stop the app, clear cache, and continue from where I left off. This seems to happen more often in heavy dialogue scenes. Also, the app keeps showing me the "Go Premium" button even though I already have it.

Newest Update always shows the "Go Premium" in the bottom left even though I am already a premium member. Also my watch list doesn't show everything I have. It stops scrolling after a certain amount shown.

Take streaming in all its glory and convince it with the ease of paying one price for a large variety of sources from cable. That's what Vrv is. It's partially unlike cable in that last respect, though, because these "channels" actually have things worth watching. And it also costs way less. Seriously, it's $10/month. I understand that chances are the free version has a ton of ads. However, A) the crunchyroll app actually has significantly fewer, and B) many of these channels release their stuff for free online soon after (RT, crunchyroll's site actually has fewer ads, etc.). Seriously, though, reading an app like this 1* just because of ads is REALLY inaccurate. (1* is really reserved for apps that don't even work as promised, or have poor overall execution. This app deserves bigger ratings than this.

It's good and I've used it for awhile on my Xbox, kinda a lot of ads but thats expected. However, when I try to use it one my phone, the video will load for a second before stopping and the app becomes completely unresponsive. Otherwise its a good service.

With every single update it keeps getting worse and worse. It even got to the point that the app WILL NOT LET ME PLAY ANY VIDEO AT ALL!! Don't use this app cause it's a waste of time

I'm getting at least 10 loading pauses per episode. Whether I watch it on pc, phone or tablet. I had the same problem with Crunchyroll. I ended up canceling Crunchyroll for that issue. I don't have that problem with Netflix, YouTube, HBO or any other streaming video.

So Far A Good Viewing App. VRV Should Add The Original Subtitles Of Anime & Original Viewing Rating. We Need The Curse Words & Original Material! Get Rid Of The Yellow Subs. Add A Pause & Play Button On The Top Right Corner Where. on Landscape. Makes Pausing & Reading Faster & Easier.

Very buggy. It will skip episides with the auto play if your not paying attention. It also now will have 1 min sections where it will not play. You need to skip ahead to get past it. No organization in the playlists by genre like other apps. Its all dumped in alphabetically.

I love this app so much and the amount of shows available through its site. I especially love the download feature they just added for a premium membership. The only issue I have with it, is for any Japanese subbed anime I downloaded, there would be no subtitles available for it when offline. I know they will update this in the future. But it's the only issue for me at the moment.

So, I've had this app for a while. It seems like its just getting worse. The adds are now boring. I loved when the adds were promoting other channels you can watch on there. Now, it seems like almost everything is premium! The first thing I watched on there is Yuri on ice dubbed version. I went to go watch it again today and now it's premium! I don't understand why so many things are premium. Its almost to the point where I Don't want to use the app anymore.

I love this app. For 10 bucks i can watch all the shows i love for cheapsies. You guys need to get RICK AND MORTY! And to all you peopke complaining about ads, either pay for the content or go use some crappy mirror app for free. You dont get quality products for free you moochers.

Poor Chromecast streaming. It plays the episode initially, but then every time it went to a commercial, it would stop playing, and would just sit there loading, wouldn't continue on. I'd have to disconnect and try again. I have yet to get through a whole episode of My Brother My Brother and Me on chromecast with this ap. Very poorly done. My YouTube and Daily Motion aps stream to chromecast (with commercials) with no problems.

Well finally got my Crunchyroll membership to become premium. I like the fact that this service is able to bring multiple services in one, if you are into that and its for a pretty good price. Unfortunately, way the shows are categorized is not great. Theres no way to look for specific genre and explore new titles. Sure they give categories like Staff Picks, Funny that it hurt so much, etc but these should not be the only way to look for what shows are available through these services. Hopefully they improve because I definitely would love to see this service really take off. UPDATE: Again please make searching for anime better. You guys only have A-Z and some random made-up stuff. I cant look for new or genres I like, I want to use your service but this is a mess!

Great app, but my phone often switches between different WiFi signals to find a stronger signal. As a result, Everytime it disconnects and reconnects, adds start to play as if I relaunched the video. Please fix this.

Love the app, love all the shows. This really has somthin goin for it, but the big issue is the buffering. I really can justify paying for somthing the runs worst than free streaming, i barely see updates, and its aggravating when im enjoying a show and, it starts skipping. Once again, LOVE what this could be, but needs to seriously be looked over.

Great selection from all channels but it will not allow me to link my paid subscriptions to it... Even after going thru all the dog and pony show referred to in their website... Disappointed ???? UPDATE: The new Offline Viewing will ask if I am a Premium member which I am, but it will not let me download any content becuase it keeps asking that ecen though I'm signed in and it shows all my info Frustrating

So far really liking the convenience of so many streaming service in one app at such a great price, I actually cancelled my Netflix cause I prefer this, but you guys have really gotta do something with your Chromecast interface. The synching is bad & it buffers a lot, more than other streaming apps with Chromecast capabilities it seems (for instance it took almost 10 minutes to get though one 3 minute episode of Deep Space 69). Hope this is worked out soon so I can give it the perfect rating it has the potential to deserve.

Good, but I can't cast on my Vizio anymore. It's not my wifi cuz I can still cast YouTube without any problem. It keeps getting stuck on the loading screen no matter what channel I try to watch. This is really disappointing because when I'm home I like watching new episodes on my big screen. If this could be fixed it would be perfect.

It's great for casting to my tv's. Other than that, watching videos is extremely blotchy. Video pauses for no reason on 4g or Wi-Fi. Works fine to watch in chrome. Honestly if it wasn't for the ability to cast, I wouldn't have it installed. Also please fix the account recognition issues in app and online. I'm constantly asked to upgrade or try premium, but I AM a premium member already. Also there is no help for this on help.vrv.co

I like the app but something happend. The subtitles all of a sudden stopped working and I dont know how it happened. All of the anime I try to click on none of the subs show up.

There are way too many ads in the regular accounts. why do we need premium to watch new episodes. And it need more shows. Now the app is having 3 advertisements per ad moment so it's about 9 to 12 ads per episode.

The subtitles don't show up and.the loading screen is misplaced please help. This wasn't an issue before the recent update. The new update screwed up the subtitles ! Thank you

Its a great app, but it has too many ads. If you put one ad per commercial break, it would be less annoying to look at ads back-to-back.

For whatever reason, the app still thinks I don't have the combo pack and keeps trying to offer it to me. If they can fix that and they add subtitles to English content of give a 5

The downside to this app is the Ads there's too many ads they are trying to force you to buy premium by playing the same ad over and over its annoying fix this please. aside from the ads this is a great app

Great content and love the offline viewing you can do as well. All the people complaining about ads just pay up for the membership and stop being a bunch of cheap asses wanting free stuff. Only way for them to make money off you bums is ads.

I like it, I get to watch almost all of my favorite anime and manga. What I do tlike is that we have to watch about 9 stupid adds every episode and to watch newly released episodes you have to have "premium" it's not fair and if they don't change that to at least 3 adds per episode for normal members then I think that they will be loosing more people then gaining.

App was fine prior to the update. I can't see my whole Watchlist whether I add or remove stuff from it. It only goes so far and then stops loading or showing the rest. Please fix it

VRV is a great streaming service on computer but a terrible app. Doesn't work on Roku or Chromecast. It has loading problems and by loading I mean the content will either not show or will freeze. I recommend fixing the app asap because I'm sorry to say it but you'll lose business by this.

The VRV app is pretty good, I've been using VRV for a whole year now to watch all of my favorite and watchlist anime. To me this is a pretty good recommendation to those who want to see new and old anime. Plus, the other channels which aren't anime related are fun as well. Many do have their opinions, but just to lay mine down to rest that I like the VRV app. It's also made by Crunchyroll so this was a improvement from my point of view. Thank you Crunchyroll for giving us a variety of so much content to go from. Keep doing what you guys do best!

The shows are great. I'd love to be able to binge watch them but the app absolutely sucks. The videos are constantly buffering. 2 minutes of video max and 5 of buffering. And the app doesn't even load up videos ahead like YouTube. So you can't just hit pause and go do something while the video loads. Nope just gotta watch it buffer for more time than you are actually watching it play. Super annoying. Oh and I paid for this, so I expected better

I love this app its really cool that you can watch anime on your phone and HD high-quality. Although it has one flaw. Too many ads. I understand that you need Ads on this app but its too many. It would be better if its atleast 1 or 2 ads in the short breaks. But 3 is too much, plus sometimes it takes too long for an ad to start. So if you can reduce the ad amount then this would he perfect! Thank you for reading.

Service is great, wish they could tweak it in a few ways. So I learned about this from crunchyroll who advertised and made it, and I wish you could transfer your account. on the ps4 version it lags on start up and there are no fast forward/rewind options; just the quick 30 seconds ahead/rewind. No subtitle options and the interface is lacking alot style points. no issue by any means with the service just crunchy rolls app is designed better and they made this too. This does have alot more viewing options though.

App let's you download only to phones storage doesn't give you the option to download to SD card. Downloaded content expires fast and without internet access subtitles doesn't show up. There's no video quality selector anywhere. And you can only rewind 30 seconds, there should be an option to change it to 15 or 10 seconds and a forward button too. App is decent just needs more options.

It has almost all the anime you want to watch, it also has some other animations too. It's really good to just watch some stuff when you have nothing to do. The only problem I have with this is that there are soo many ads unless you have premium. When you watch one episode you have to watch 9 ads that are split into three places of the episode, usually after the intro or in between trasitions. But overall it's a decent app.

This app is awesome! For 9.99 you get an amazing deal. Funimation and crunchy roll together. No ads! For all the people complaining about ads, go premium. It's cheap. You are saving money if you were to subscribe to just two of the many channels. I have this on my Xbox one, ps4, android boxes, and tablets, and phone. So stop being cheap and go subscribe.

I don't like VRV, it claims to have all things from each service bundled in it, when it really doesnt. For instance, search up One Piece, both funimation and Crunchyroll have it, why isn't it on here? It's like that for many shows I watch and it's very misleading especially since they are charging the same price for both services here with less content when you could just get them separately with all of the content they off. Don't get this!

Crappy, garbage service. Crashes constantly, unfortunately it is the only place to watch some of my favorite streaming programs. Do NOT get this unless you have no other options, and do not bother getting into any program exclusively on this service until they have moved to a better site.

Thank you for existing.. but hey, on Xbox one, without subscription, it pauses after an ad so you have to turn your controller back on and press A to get it going again. I pay the subscription now but that's pretty annoying. In my opinion that's more likely to turn people away than persuade them to pay for no ads.
