On lesson 3, you will have absolutely no idea what you are being asked to remember. The pictures are ambiguous.

Update : it looks like you finally fixed that annoying lock screen problem. Now I can use the app! Thanks. My older review :cannot use the app because my phone switches to lock screen while using the app. their support team ignored my e-mails also. (using S4 mini). if such bugs are ironed out it'd be useful I guess. It's been months and that latest update did not fix a thing!

I haven't used the app for a while and wanted to install it again to proceed with learning Russian, unfortunately I can not use it anymore, as it instantly locks my phone whenever I open the app and locks it again 1 second after unlocking

The new look is exceptionally well designed and even more user friendly then previous versions. Everything else is pretty much awesome! Thanks for the great app, worth the price.

I tried several before this, found them either difficult to use or a complicated UI, this app seems great, straight in with the alphabet...

Using pictures and two different choices helps new learn quicker and easier

I use a HTC one and after a new update of this app it has been hanging. Kindly solve this problem.

This is a great app for learning Russian! I have spent hours of fun learning this beautiful language. This program is powerful!

Need to use dictionary in conjunction but very good, especially when you have been learning for a while.

Good intuitive method to learn basic vocabulary. Effortless acquisition of words. Some explanations of grammar would be useful, though.

Good app if you know basic Russian. Not enough variations in the pictures to pick up the nuances otherwise, and use it in combination with an dictionary. I love it and I'm currently revisiting this app. I definitely remember the words learned with this app better than when using flash card applications, so get it..

Learning a new language requires multiple learning streams. If you are serious, this needs to be one of your tools. And it is an incredible value. I have purchased numerous books, charts and applications. They all have some benefit and usefulness. But this little application, at 2 bucks, sits at the top of the value table.

Issues on my nexus 7, android 4.2.2... several times trying instal [error: can't instal on usb or SD card]... After instal: the presentation don't run automatically, no have sound... Runs perfectly on android 2.1 in my xperia x8... I love it...

force closes on S3 and does not work on generic 2.2 android tablet either..i know it can be fixed because new version of French in a month that used to do the same thing now works. DEVELOPER PLEASE FIX THIS ONE TOO!

Very easy to understand and learn. By far the best Russian application out there.

I had this app on my Galaxy S and all was good. Changed phone for a S4 and now the app can't even download the package files. Very angry to have paid for that.

This app is confusing,it should really have English translation,not shore what is what.I would like my money back.

This app worked great the very first time I used it, but loaded without sound or images thereafter. Still needs work!

Good to use as practise on the go. Need a Russian speaker to help usually. Luckily I have my girlfriend for that!

Sorry, I liked the demo version and bought it, and it is far from professional. The pictures are confusing. Rosetta is the thing!

I have studied Russian off and on for 2 years now, and this little 2 dollar app is excellent! I am learning new vocabulary and grammar on a daily basis. For the absolute beginner, it may not be the way to go, but for someone with the barest fundamentals, it is an excellent learning aid...get it!

Being dyslexic i always struggled learning languages untill i found these apps.For me this app is a gift.i understand russian in just two weeks :)
