Gives lessons here and there. What's the use lessons 1,15&30. Atleast give me 1,2&3 so I can get something out of this app.

I took French in high school, and this is nothing like that. The word is paired with a picture that could mean multiple things. I've heard Rosetta stone is like this. If you really want to understand French, don't get this app.

This app is okay but I need translations in English! It is alarming to know that they ask you to do quiz without knowing anything. The voice is too fast

It doesn't even tell you the words in English. You have to guess or assume the meaning.

The correct way of teaching French shouldn't be word for word unless you're just looking for a few phrases.

K70%
by K####:

It has only french words and phrases. How do we know what it means. The pictures always do not convey the exact meaning. Lots have to be assumed.

Give it a chance..forces you into immersion. It helps to have some prior experience with the language. Naysayers r wrong. This program does what it says.

K70%
by K####:

in the most basic way... through pictures. Works great so far. Some people are hopeless, they expect to learn a new language but haven't mastered their own language yet.

C70%
by C####:

when typing without t9 for quiz in writing mode, before I double tap for something else, it considers only t letter tapped first and increases the error percentage or Wtever its called. Needs translation, at least English translation.

I have no idea why this gets a good review of any kind. I downloaded the app only to find I then had to download 12 mob of lessons. When I tried to do the lessons, I only had 3 ...lesson 1 lesson 15 and lesson 30. No matter what I tried that was it. Either the app is crap for 3 lessons or the instructions are so poor Ir's unusable . They should not just say how many uploads , they should say how many people deleted these apps! Also, the pronunciation was off on several words. You will not learn French with this crap app.

I was having fun until I had to spell "un garcon" and it won't accept it without that funky "c". I switched the settings to "check word" but that didn't help. I'll change my review and buy the full version when this problem is addressed.

Just downloaded then selected icon and it just keeps (popping up black box) saying "unfortunately, French in a month free has stopped." (Hebrew works good but this one? Uninstalling till it gets fixed.

It just showed pictures! I don't know what's its trying to tell me maybe say it in English also so we know what the words mean

F70%

I didn't understand some pictures, so I installed the identical app in English. It was a little bit boring sitting through all of the English repetition, but well worth the patience. Now I do know what all of the pictures mean. I think it is worth buying full versions of both languages.

As soon as I tap the app my phone gets locked!! In in a motorola defy :(

I would have rated this app 5 stars if it had offered what the title says it is offering- learn French in a month free. This app offers only 3 lessons from what I imagine are 30 lessons in the purchased version. The lessons you get are lessons 1, 15 & 30. This is enough to give you an idea if you would want to purchase the rest of the lessons, However, I installed the app under the false impression that I would be able to learn French in a month free, as the title of the app suggests. Very disappointed.

K70%
by K####:

If you have already learned some french and understand the basic gramatical structure then you should be OK. It teaches through words and pictures then quizes you, but it keeps reusing words while slowly putting in new ones or making the sentance more complex. You won't get a dictionary style effect, and some things don't translate over well, so it is good to see the photos and learned based off of that. They have both a typing quiz and a visual quiz. If you work at it a little each day, then it's good.

I give 1 star because it was a good idea in theory, but after installing & downloading the necessary info, it didn't work at all!

K70%

Problem with the writing part, cant make the c in french.. like in garcon

P70%

My daughter is impressed with my accent that she once mocked. Im able to help her with her schooling now! Thank you so much! Recommendation: give a pop up button for extra French characters/letters. Will buy when I have completed these lessons.

K70%
by K####:

don't they have it with English, its so fuckin stupid, why do I have to download an English app just to learn this, why don't it just say what it suppose to be in one app

W70%

I liked it, but wish it didn't skip lessons and instead make you purchase the full version if you want to learn more advanced stuff. Disappointed with the free version. :(
