Elite Lighting Smart HUE for Android
We installed 2 Elite lights on recommendation from an electrician. The lights were easy to install in the existing cans. The app to control them, however, is a piece of junk. As of August 2017, it's on version 1.0.0 and hasn't been updated since December 2016. It's more like a proof of concept of how an app might run than a finished product. Sometimes one of the lights will turn on and the other will not, regardless of whether they are in a "ROOM" configuration or individually. Sometimes, one light will change color and the other will not. These happen at random times, but occur often enough to be aggravating. The "play music" feature is useless--it doesn't work with existing music apps (Spotify, Google Music, Pandora, etc.). It only plays music it finds on your phone data card and only shows an alphabetical list (by song title). Searching a data card with a couple hundred songs on it takes 20-30 seconds. If you put the app in the background, the lights stop dancing. Again, great idea but horrible execution. I'm hoping the lights can be controlled by some other Zigbee or Hue app. My advice is to not buy this brand of light based on how shoddy the controller app is.
Needs an astrological time clock, more playful functions, holiday themes, and music function is crappy

I sell this product and this is hugely disappointing.
