Imagine this: You are in a bar having a drink with a friend. You think, "Hey, we should call a couple of people to join us!" But the thought of dealing with all of that communications leads you to quickly dismiss the idea.

Introducing Drop By - With just a few clicks, you can send a simple text message inviting a group of people to join you where you are. No pressure, no reply necessary. Hey, you're already there.

Now picture this: You're in the playground with your 5 year old. He's whining because he has no friends to play with. No less than 20 of his friends live in a 5 minute radius, and you know that at least one parent is looking for something to do with their kid.

Now, with Drop By, you can let a group know that you're looking for company, letting them all know how long you'll be there in case they want to drop by.

No signups, no web interfaces, no privacy issues! You control your own groups with Google Contacts, and add only the name of the places you frequent into the application. A simple text message (SMS) handles the communication. You can invite all or part of a group, and customize your outgoing message.

This is a free pre-release version of the app. In the future, a Pro version will be released which has additional features. You may add up to 5 places on the Free version.
