Tried in on my vzw note 5 marshmallow. Also using Google Now launcher. Cannot add widgets to the lock screen.

New phone with Android 5.1.1 can't accommodate Widgets on the lock screen. This app is the next best thing. With Pro version, I can place Widgets where I want, at any size, with multiple pages of Widgets, if needed. Thanks developer...

T70%
by T####:

Often times the widget is not showing on lockscreen and you have to keep restarting the service for it to work. If only the widget is showing on lock screen all the time, this would be a great software.

Update fixed crash (thanks!), so back to having a fantastic app. Adds another dimension to my phone, so I can check quick things (like weather) from lock screen - Lollipop stupidly killed this feature in favour of notifications, so having it back is great! On the nice-to-have wishlist, can we customise the icon with or own images? :)

It's not perfect, but I'm giving it full marks anyway. Why? Because, despite any issues, what this developer has done is to utilize functionality in Lollipop effectively to replace a feature that was removed in the upgrade from KitKat. That feature is, of course, widgets on your lock screen. Assuming I understand correctly how it operates, it leverages the ability of an app (given the correct permission) to display itself over the lock screen, and the ability to host widgets just as most launchers do. When I press the power button, a small icon appears in the lower-left corner. If I tap it, the widgets are displayed. I can swipe up to dismiss them or, if I've set a timeout, they'll disappear on their own after that time elapses. It's just that simple. What's not perfect about it? Well, the user interface isn't as intuitive as it could be and, when moving or resizing widgets, they're not aligned to a grid so you can end up with widgets being a size they're not really designed for. But these are minor issues when compared to the fact that it actually does what it's supposed to and is, as far as I can tell, the only available app that does it this way.

Lock screen widgets are back! Google removed them from Lollipop and Seth has brought them back even better than what stock KitKat was. The activation methods are better and you can have more than just one widget per page. And if I remember correctly, KK only allowed 5 pages. Seth has made some nice improvements from when this app first came out. He implemented the suggestions I offered so I can profess that he really listens to us. This app provides functionality that exceeds stock Android. Nice work!

The latest update crashes on my HTC M7. Prior to this update I loved the app. Hope it gets fixed soon. -developer updated the app ASAP and it is working again! Awesome!!

Thank you for making this and bringing back my lock screen music widget!

I've never thanked a developer before, especially for something that is probably trivial since that's what Google obviously thought, but thank you. I needed my audible widget back so I could continue to drive safely and blindly hit the rewind button without taking my eyes of the road.

Disappears right after you toggle it again and again and again and again and again and again and again... Don't waste your money on this crap app. No response from the developer, and no sign of any fix or update at all.

T70%
by T####:

Really good app, but it would be better still if you could choose to enable the widgets to appear automatically and remain on for a user determined period, when you press the power button, instead of triple taping or pressing the widget icon.

Love it. The one feature I like about iPhone is the lock screen calculator and flashlight. This solves that problem great.

Well made Seth. A lot of us missed the functionality and this is an easy-to-use and bulletproof app.

Worked on my Droid Turbo the first day I installed it, now it doesn't. Uninstalled and removed.

Thank you so much for this app. I was dismayed when I realized Lollipop took away widgets! This app gave me my widgets back. It takes some playing around to get just right but it's much better than what Lollipop gave me!!! I look forward to future improvements/enhancements.

I like the app except for the fact that I can't change the icon to something less ugly. And the biggest problem is that when I resize the widget, it doesn't stay resized.

Thank you, nice idea and implementation. Google should buy your idea after leaving their users without one of the best tools.

Worth buying to get back lock screen widgets lollipop removed. It'd get 5 stars if it was easier moving the widgets, and making them snap to the edge of the screen and other widgets. Being able to change the toggle button image would also be a good addition.

Had a glitch where widget screen button and page button stayed on permanently in all screens. Had to uninstall/reinstall. Seems to have fixed so far. Widget default size is tiny and resizing is unintuitive. Needs pinch zoom resizing, long press select, and auto save like everything else. Needs a lot of fine tuning but functions much better than the free version.

One of the things that was always annoying was when you needed to do something on your phone like start your music player or turn on the flashlight, but you had to fumble through your keyboard to unlock the device. On Samsung devices with a password screen lock, you're not able to add any widgets to accomplish this without unlocking, but with this app this is no longer the case! You can add an easy way to access widgets without ever unlocking your device! Pro version allows more customization of your widgets, as well as placement of where the Widget Pager activation button is on the lock screen. Still has some room for improvements, but all in all it makes my device better!

Thank you for developing an app that gives lock screen widgets back. I really appreciate the customizability, scaling, and multiple page options in the pro version. There are two minor things preventing this review from being a 5. One is that the app cannot seem to find my calculator app to add. I've tried this with a third party calculator widget, no help. The second is that after using it and unlocking, the widgets remain up and have to be cleared to get at my regular home screen.

Works well (widgets back on lollipop! yes!!) but it needs a bit more polish. The ability to change the trigger icon, for example. And its position etc. Resizing and moving widgets is also a bit of a pain at the moment. Good luck, keep it up!
