txtForward - SMS to Email

I bought this because I had originally bought this for my blackberry and it made it so that I could REPLY to text messages using email as well. Looks like this version of it doesn't have that capability so the fact that it forwards texts is almost useless for me.. :( :( :(

It works, but should record all messages into one email instead of mailing each individual txt . Or a backup option would be nice.

Have not actually used as it forwards messages through their servers (FYI before you buy). I can't use it because of sensitivity of some sms'.

Needs to allow only forwarding from certain contacts and a back up whole thread feature. Works great! LG Ally

Save your money. This doesn't work properly. Coming from a Blackberry, I've used Cortado SMS2DESK without problems & no response from developers!

Messages are forwarded with an unroutable sender address ending in ".localdomain", so won't be accepted by well-configured modern mail servers.

Only email about 90% of incoming texts and 5% of outgoing texts. Will change rating when this is fixed.

Definitely does not work. Don't waste your time.

Hardly ever works. Especially outgoing texts.

Bugs with Droid X there are bettter free versions DONT GET THIS ONE!!!!

its great app but i guess i should have read more, cannot pick and choose which messages you want to forward.

It is alright and works flawlessly until the screen locks - and i wouldnt want to leave the screen on all day because of battery life. Fix that for 5!

It does everything I need it to do. I do wish you could program it to not forward certain numbers though. Have a programmable filter. Less deleting

I get the texts that I send but I am not getting received texts......any suggestions?

It quit working on my droid x 2.2!! emailed support over three weeks ago and then again 2 more times and they have never contacted me.... :(

I have an Android phone that I use in the US and a BlackBerry that I use when overseas. When in the US, I use txtForward for BB to forward texts to my Android and it works great. So, I bought txtForward for Android so I could forward texts to my BB when I'm overseas but it doesn't work at all.

while i was away on vacation in the dominican republic, i left my phone at home to forward text messages. it workes well for a few days and then it freezes and then sends all delayed text messages at once. please fix this issue. reliability is important.

I have never had a problem with this App ... on every phone I have had ! But since the latest upload .... I no longer get status at top of my phone and it does not update to my gmail acct without my having to do it manually :( PLEASE FIX & I will return my 5 star rating. Thank you .

This App does not work on my Note 3. Could I please have a refund?

Never a problem. Would be nice to schedule activation though.

Forwards all my texts from business and personal phones to my email. When I reply TxtForward turns my email into an SMS and sends it on. Perfect. I even get to keep a handy archive of all my text messages

This perfectly suits my needs as I work in an area where personal cells are prohibited. While at work I have missed some really important calls and messages, so I needed something in addition to call forwarding that lets me read my messages while away from my phone. All my texts have come to my email as I needed. The messages are forwarded thru the developers server - this is a pro because it does not count against your sent sms, but a con if you are highly paranoid. Droid X on VZW.

I use this to forward texts to my work email. It worked great but now I've started to get spam emails at work and I've never given out my work email to anyone but this app. I only use my work email internally.

This works great. I had some issues getting it up and going but had great support and now works like a dream.

It just stopped working and its very difficult to figure out what to do to get working

it did not open so I canceled it

It doesn't copy received messages

Completely nonfunctional on Droid 3. Don't waste your money.
