Ringo: Ringtones & Text Alerts

I love that I can set different ringtones for each person in my contacts list. However, when I get group messages I don't get any notification and don't see them until I check the phone's native messaging app. I've missed several important messages this way!

I've used Ringo for years and I'm just now trying to use it on my new phone to personalize my contacts and it won't show any of my music. So after all this time I have to buy the Pro just to get specific songs for each contact?! Not happy

Wow I just switched from I phone. To moto x Android .I was in tears at first I couldn't personalize or customize text tones or ring tone for my contacts .I tried the trial version was a bit better but now I bought the full version wooooooo hoooooo thank you I now love my new phone .thank you so much Ringo I LOVE YOU WOOOO HOOOO .

Great app.lots of ringtones and I paid for custom vibrations too. Problem is every so often it just stops working. I am tired of uninstalling it reinstalling it and then having to reset all the custom vibrations. UPDATE I have an app optimiser on phone. Since I set that to ignore Ringo the problem of it just stopping working seems to have gone away. If it is happening to you and you have optimiser try it see if it helps you.

It doesn't seem to be working on the Galaxy S7. I can't access the menu anymore and it finds my ringtones yet only shows a SD card message where the selected alert would normally show. PLEASE FIX!

I've used Ringo for years on two different phones and I've honestly had no problems with it. It does exactly what I want it to do with no issues. Thanks Ringo! ********EDIT 11/1/15 : must have jinxed myself, not working on my Nexus 5 after new update. RINGO custom text sound works, but if i don't catch the TEXTRA icon to open the text it dissappears and the RINGO icon appears. Then when I try to open the RINGO icon text notification, nothing is there and I have no idea who texted me!

I've used this app on several phones and really liked it, but on my Samsung S7 roughly half of my texts show up on my phone without any notification. Would love to have an update to fix it!

I have the phone default sent to silent and added my desired contact & notification ringtones, but they're always silent. Not sure why that keeps happening

I have used this app for years but for whatever reason on this phone my Zedge tones don't come up. I go to the app and open it and click Zedge but it shows I've not downloaded any.

I would rate it better, but it doesn't let all of my texts come through. Shows them on the popup but not in my messages. Fix it and I'll rate higher.

I have a galaxy 5 and the Led never turns off even when I don't have a notification

It's nice to know who is texting and calling me by the message sound and ringtone. But like most people are saying not all the texts from people are coming through. Please fix it.

I already have all these ringtones on my phone I was hoping for something different but didn't get it.

Well done app, with my moto g 3rd generation phone I like to personalize my contact tones but like most people , texts will show up in notification but not actually go through and group messages are delayed. Other than those bugs its good

Finally, a way to set a sound for text from an email system (like computer servers and highway alerts). I end up with the Droid notification, a pause, then the custom sounds and sometimes dual alerts in the notifications bar. But this is the best app I've found.

Custom message tones doesn't work if device is idle for 4-5 hours. It starts ringing after device activation only whether you received message 2-3hours earlier. Device : Moto G 3rd Gen, OS : 6.0

Post update is broken. Works for some contacts and not others. To bad as it was quite a good program.

The ringtones for SMS don't work. Once that's fixed I love this app

App is working again after the update on 10/26. Thank you for quickly addressing the issue

Not happy about this. Happens off and on. Ill get a text that shows in my notification bar and i drag it down click on it to open up and it disappears ive lost numerous messages

Most of these ringtone soundbites are crystal clear, the layout is aesthetically pleasing, and the app runs smoothly. Thank you for this free app; I will probably end up buying the full version.

Bought pro and never refunded it when I came back to change nag alerts said I didn't have the pro version and now required me to pay another 5 dollars

I didn't have this problem before just on my new galaxy s6 edge plus. I set ring tones and work fine for calls but for text messages just can't make it works. I set them right but it doesn't ring when i get a message

I have to keep unstalling ans reinstalling this app gets to where it won't make a sound even tho all volumes are at the maximum.

Never had problems with this app before but notice that after a while the sound notification does not work I get pop up and I have to reopen app to get the sound to work again really hate to get rid of this app but problem persist I might have to look for a new one note 4

It's not recognize the SD card. And it stops playing the tones. Samsung Galaxy S7

App had locked in a "default" ringtone location and I can't get it to let me change it so I can't assign ANY ringtones because the location is empty, I already tired to move stuff to the location, and uninstalling/reinstalling neither worked. This is very upsetting as I love this app. Resolve it and I will change it to 5☆'s.

Great app.I have used this app for years.I love it.you can set specific ringtones,text tones and even send calls to voicemail.its perfect!!!!

Can the vibration be set to other notifications like emails, Facebook, viber etc? If so how?

It was working great everyone had their own text sound and even in a group text I would be able to tell who was replying but since the update no sound on the group text. Please fix it

Won't read my sd card on my LG V10. Tried uninstalling and re installing and still won't read it. I can set ringtone and sometimes it stays and then goes away. Help!

Pls. Add the features that notify you from Facebook notifications or other apps.

You say I can fix this with a new thing in play store,. What do I have to do delete the app and then download it AGAIN! t do I do,delete the app and then download AGAIN! Loved this app til upgrade!
