Awful update. The UI is a little prettier but it now takes over two minutes to register that the reader is plugged in (which should be instant, since it's a headphone jack), and another 45 seconds to process a transaction. Each time it leaves me standing there awkwardly while I make small talk, typically by explaining to my clients how terrible this app has become.
Do not like how tip line that it's not at the end of transaction for customers to add tip before transaction is done and no way to go back and input tip for one. Secondly, app keeps running microphone when not in use, thirdly, my card reader that has stop reading credit cards, when my reader is only couple of months old.
It washard to get started but once we figured it out I prefer this app vs virtual merchant.much easier to send receipts. I personally like you can put what payment is for like (down payment) or (final payment) so far so good.and money seems to be deposited sooner also
I hate that the gratuity isn't at the end... by the time the costumer enters their card info, it is too late to add a tip and you can't go back to add it after the fact!
The old app was way better. Cannot even enter your customer's name. very poorly designed. Terrible.
Feel like I'm begging for tips! Please add the "automatic gratuity" function like virtual merchant mobile app had.

The tip set up makes taking payment awkward and you feel like a beggar. How hard is it to figure that out for an app developer plus it should have a email option. Otherwise it's fine but those are a huge deal when taking payment.
If you want to process payments only to have it returned to your customers, this app is for you! They will approve you, kindly help you set up, until you start taking payments. Your account is frozen for reviews and funds returned to customers. I hate card processors that play this game. It is a complete waste of time for your customer and yourself and a disregard for you business and cash flow. Do you know how foolish you sound telling a customer to expect a refund instead of the product they orded? An average customer do not underatand this and will soon think you are a scam. So now, instead of assisting customers with the perfect product, im calling trying to find the right words explaing that a refund is expected instead of the items purchased. And to make matters worst, these jokers charged me a fee!!! Luckily i found a real card processor who is helping me turn this situation around. If you are tired of clowns like this company, messing up your company image with holds and returns, there is only 1 or 2 legit companies that will depost your funds. I will post the names here in a few weeks as i am still reviewing them. However, stay away from this company unless you want to be the laughing stock in your respected industry. They will embarass you in front of your customers. How hard is it to just deposit funds? HORRIBLE AND SAD!!!!
Terrible. I was told how much better this was than Square. It is definitely not better. You cannot activate on the weekends and the instructions are way off from reality. I think it is totally bogus that they could put this service out when it doesn't work. LG G6. I wish I didn't have to give them a star. Possibly the worst app and service I've dealt with so far on Google Play. No joke.
When setting up it changes lowercase characters to uppercase in the PIN field and my PIN doesn't have uppercase letters. Very frustrating.
I love this company but wish the app was more user friendly like square. My clients have a hard time figuring out how to tip .
Impressive quality device compared to others. While it was more of a process to setup, I feel more confident in the security for my business and customers.
I like this app. My money gets transferred to my account in minutes after running a card.

Need to be able to split payments
No issues at to setup ur machine it is very easy when u get the machinery u can also get blue plastic card which have information u need to step on ur phone app read information carefully and flow instruction..I can help u out with this situation like pass user ID example. Newyork is user id first letter should be capital Then password for example Newyork-united100 Is password try it like that it works Instead of 100 u can use any number Hope this works for u guys best of luck God bless you all

Email receipt doesnt work so I had to take a screen cap and email through gmail. Then they charge $250+ for these pieces of trash. Elevon was already bad enough before converge. See you both never. Account CANCELLED.

App will not run on my companies phones because they're not tied to one company.... utter fail.... crashes on all our phones....

Would like to be able to use in Landscape vs. Portrait only. It would be nice to have tax on/off switchable in cart, if you change in settings it will remove the line but keep the amount.

In today's time, there is no excuse for this app. The Bluetooth pairing is unstable and most of all, the tip line is before the signature line. That means that you HAVE TO ASK for a tip before you send them to the signature page. What kind of crap is that? I will NOT do that so i will loose on this. Looks like i will pay a little extra to go back to square but will make more on tips to pay for it. Seriously, whoever developed this app should have considered this and if they did, they should be fired.
I can't get it to download. Then it says it is but I've been waiting for almost 24 hrs. Not good for business.

Need indicator that the card reader is paired. Also, communication between card reader and application is not stable, had several transactions say that they failed but in reality they had gone through so I had to issue credits.
Works great with Card Reader. Can even take chip cards.

This review is for the Ingenico card reader. Old app and new app are ok, just acceptable, needs real life scenarios to make this app great. They tried to add the tip in before the total to kinda force the issue, which was sorely needed, as customers would conveniently say they didn't see where they could add the tip. BUT and this is a huge BUT, why didn't you put this on the customer interface, you know on the phone part where they sign. Now we have to hand them the card reader, hope they tip, get the card reader back from the customer, insert or scan the card, have the customer sign on the phone. It was on the phone before but it did not force the issue like it does on the card reader on tiny and I mean tiny fonts. Force the tip on the phone and signature pad it would make more real world since, instead of tossing reader and phones between customers, not to mention the portable printer.
